I have been doing tech support on this damn computer ALL DAY LONG. It's supposed to be a fantastic computer. A Dell PC with XP Home (which, admittedly, has shortcomings compared to Pro, it seems), with a P4 Processor, loads of GB space, loads of memory... wonderful software, too. But nope, virus. Plus loads of spy ware, ad ware, and unwanted programs.

I blame Erin. She's a ditz with the computer.

Well, the DSL line was being stupid-- it required me to DIAL UP for some weird reason, but when I was on the phone, it claimed it was busy. Dealt with that-- sort of. Turned out a virus was making the CPU Usage 100%, rather than the required 0-4% required (!) for the DSL line to function at peak speeds. So I did a Spybot Search and Destroy, and a McAfee Virus Scan. Got rid of the worm, and we're back. Then I got a new error-- something about the destination address not being found. Fixed that with the help of another SBC person, and re-enabled this LAN chip... now we're functioning again. And I have FTP access! Whoo hoo!

While I was waiting for all this to happen, I played some FFX-2-- I gave up on Via Infinitio and tried my hand at Sphere Break. Now this is nuts. Me, doing math willingly? Well, I want the Lady Luck dressphere! -_- So I found this "cheat" that recommended getting Entry Coins of 6, 1, 2, and 3. I did this-- and discovered that I actually HAD loads of Entry Coins. I mean, I had no idea how to use all the coins I dug up in the Bikanel Desert, and suddenly I have all these coins with Multiplier Echoes and Coin Count Echoes! Whoo! I won the first match against a 2-Star guy down in the Luca Basements, but I promptly lost two more matches-- against the Bevelle Sphere guy, and the DOG! I LOST TO A DAMN DOG! -_- I decided I needed to dig up more Coins, especially ones with Multiplier Echoes, but the only ones that were of the values I needed (see above) were in Expanses that were infested with fiends. And I guess I was rusty, because I always ran out of time JUST before getting to the stupid hover. *growl* I need Iron Giant coins, especially... they're part of Group C, but all the Group C sphere players are HARD! -_- Mou~

Okay, so I hopped back on the computer to work on BEA and moving it to the new database. I have to admit, I honestly expected it to go flawlessly, the way I've been slaving over the member list the past few days. And people just keep pouring memberships in --which is a good thing, really!-- but it gets annoying when you have a member list with over 140 people and the TINIEST error can screw you over completely.

It works like this: ('', 'Member Name', 'email@domain.com', 'http://www.yahoo.com', 'Country', '', 'n', 'y', '')
The first blank is for the member ID number, the one after Country is for Comments, and the last one is for Favorites-- which I do have to change again. Sorry, Atlantis, but the last one was just too long. I'm going to use akaVertigo's suggested one... which, all things hoping, will be up soon! People will be able to edit their profiles to add websites, show/hide/change their emails (hence the n/h option), and so on. IF I CAN GET THE DAMN MEMBERS ADDED TO THE NEW DATABASE! Stupid syntax error. I have to go through every single line and make sure there are no missing apostrophes or commas, extras, or semi-colons where there shouldn't be. I'm getting an error on Line 2, but there's nothing ON line 2!

-_- Okay, that problem got solved... sort of. I managed to "add the members successfully," they're just not showing up in the table. Grrr. Hopefully someone will get back to me from CG...

Meanwhile... I'm going to work on WDKY10. And Dragonfayth. I need to vent.

Erm, what exactly are you talking about? I never helped you with anything that had to do with favorites. However I did help you with *THE QUESTION*, so is that what you meant? *pouts* If it is then I shall be sad because we had loads of fun coming up with answers...

The last category in the section is called 'favorites,' and is used to ask members a question. For example, in fanlistings for a band, what the favorite song is. For fanlistings of a movie, what their favorite actor or scene is. You get my point. It's harder to do with couples, hence our question... unfortunately, it's a bit too long, and is one of the reasons the site isn't working! However, I can re-use it in a poll, so ph33r not, it will not go to waste!
