More little things.

azurite(1) Why do we pay for fonts? Why don't I have the money to buy the cool fonts I want right now? Can someone point me at an archive of free retro fonts? ;_; I need my font phix.
(2) Thing that annoys me: icons. LJicons are so cool-- if you put effort into them. Some are boring, and some are funny. Some really speak volumes about a person's skill or personality. So what gets my goat is when people put quotes or lyrics on there and they SPELL WORDS INCORRECTLY. I mean 1st grade words like too/to/two and they're/their/there. UGH!
A: Where are you two headed to?
B: We're going to Disneyland. There's supposed to be a cool new ride.
C: Yeah, and we're meeting B's aunt and uncle there. They're going to take care of our tickets with their credit card.
A: Ooh, can I come too?
B: Sure. But I hafta warn you, my aunt and uncle are...
A: They're what?
C: They're pretty crazy about Mickey!
See what I mean? It's easy to tell which word means what from context. Spelling such simple words incorrectly-- especially in an icon that would be FANTASTIC otherwise... well, it really makes you look stupid. I.M.H.O. You have no excuse where lyrics are concerned, either. Very few lyrics sites on the 'Net (for English songs, anyway) manage to get the lyrics 100% correct, especially where spelling is concerned. PROOFREAD! DOUBLE CHECK! Yeesh.
Weird stuff in Shounen Jump July:
p. 346 - on the "Grand Entrance" Yu Yu Hakusho card, there is quite clearly an Inuyasha. THERE ARE DOGGY EARS.
p. 216 and 217 - the bottom panels. Is that repeat of images there for effect, or did they just copy Horohoro and Manta and change their words?
