azuriteTo any and all authors irritated by the presence of CYOA (Choose-Your-Own-Adventure) fanfics on FFnet:
Xing has just emailed me and told me that if you see a CYOA [Yu-Gi-Oh] fic, please click on it and go to the menu at the bottom of the fic (same as you would if you were leaving a review) and click on 'Report Possible Abuse.' The category is Not allowed: interactive, etc. and for description, you can type "Choose Your Own Adventure/Interactive Fic" or something to that effect.
The presence of these so-called "fics" greatly annoys me, especially as it seems to be a "trendy" thing to do. I was sorely mistaken when I thought fanfiction was too "original" to go through phases and trends. It's hard enough weeding out the good stuff from the dirt on FFnet; especially in the YGO section; please help me and other authors by reporting this abuse.
