Just got back from a spree at the Northridge Mall. $100 doesn't last long, let me tell you. I should have just put that money into my bank account and saved my skin from possible daily charges (for being in the negative zone) but I got bitten by the bug, and now...
Well, I'm the proud owner of a fuzzy blue sweater, a pair of navy track pants, a bodice-styled tank top, and a striped pink-and-black 3/4 shirt with a bow on it. Plus 2 books. And 2 necklaces. ^^; I managed to resist most of the stuff at the "teeny bopper" stores like The Icing, Afterthoughts, Claire's, and Teen Nation... Augh, but let me tell you it was hard. I have too much jewelry as it is, though. Don't need more. Cosmetics, MAYBE, just because I need to "renovate" my collection and get rid of old stuff, but still...
Added a few books and DVDs I couldn't snag at Border's today to the list at Amazon.com. X_X It's helpful, keeping track of all that stuff...
Now, as for this comp... going to dld Kazaa Lite, then download Dreamweaver and possibly Photoshop, if I can. We have super speed here, right? And this comp is in severe need for some "sprucy" upgrades! We already have super virus protection anyway... X_X Whee.
To be frank though, I'm not much in the mood for contacting Mom's family. Jill and them are nice and all, but... I'm here for my Grandparents. And what would I do, anyway? The BIG BIG dinner is tonight, much to my surprise. Last night was just a "precursor." That's why Dan was bitching at me to not ask about the presents, because THAT big deal, along with all the other usual Thanksgiving rituals, is supposed to be TONIGHT! I have a Digicam to take pics with, but unless we use one of the ones you can actually hook up to a computer (like Erin's, I think) then I'll have to wait till I get the film developed. *sigh* I should at least call Jill though, you know, to wish her Happy Thanksgiving? Where'd I put that phone number... X_X
Okay called. Looks like we're going out for breakfast (at Mimi's!?) tomorrow. Yay? Dad's still being stubborn about going though, even though Virginia invited him. Le sigh.
I think I need some MP3 goodness here. We do have DVD and CD-RW drives... hmm... phwee... (shoulda brought my blank CDs!)
