azurite | A slight bright spot...

Okay, so dinner was small, dessert was delicious, and the presents can't be opened until tomorrow. I haven't gotten any money yet, but Dad asked me to scratch off the scratchers Barry (cousin or something?) bought for everyone. Aaand, being the odd day/week that it has, I actually won $40 on my first scratch! It all went down from there, and the most I won total was probably something like $44, but that's still pretty cool. I won the most out of everyone.

Still reading delish fics by Atlantis2... she compliments MY writing, and here I'm jealous of her! The guys are busy playing on one of Brooke's husband's (Michael) computers... this proggie known as E-Jay. It's quite cool, but they're mixing house with trance and techno and pop and o_O... It boggles the mind.

Also considering the implications of the "Da Vinci Code" here. Da Vinci a homosexual? Leader of the Priory of Scion? The author did an incredible amount of research that is undeniably backed up in the actual prints of art... it's amazing, looking at the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, and Madonna on the Rocks. Some of the things are ridiculously hard to believe, but coming from one of those backgrounds that didn't focus entirely on one doctrine or scripture, I suppose I'm a bit more open-minded (liberal?) than most. o_O Read the book, at any rate. I'd like to see some flaming reviews either way.
