And there was blood everywhere...
Oct. 29th, 2003 02:20 pmOkay, not everywhere, just up my nose. :P I got a bloody nose while in box yesterday, because it was so hot and dry, and that happens to people with brains like mine... all f*d up... har har. So I radioed for someone to come down, since I "had to go to the bathroom," and the OC that came down informed me that now the entire theater knew where I was. I wasn't THAT mortified, just... er, some. I mean, I've heard weirder on the radios. Mostly from ticketdrop.
Still have that bloody nose, only it was worse this morning, with actual drippage. Oh JOY.
On the bright side, I left work and got to Border's ontime for the pagan meetup... unfortunately, I didn't see any gatherings of people near either entrance, so that pretty much fell through. ;_; Still, I went on another shopping spree and spent $70 on 3 CDs (Dido "Life for Rent," Freaky Friday OST, Enigma "Love Sensuality Devotion") and 2 manga (Wild Act 2, Hana Yori Dango 2). I think the Enigma CD is the wrong one... I wanted their new one, but the greatest hits is just as good! ^_^ I can always get the other one in a few weeks...
OMG, being at Border's made me think of all the things I want this holiday season. I'm so selfish, but seriously, I could LIVE in Border's. X_X I'm like the otaku-version of Yomiko Readman, I swear. SHE IS ME! I saw the "Getting Started" Manga Kit, for $30, which is REALLY cool because it comes with the book AND all these supplies. :D Also saw more manga I need... >_> INVU 3, Forbidden Dance 1... among others. :P Also want the "Bad Girl's Power Planner," even if it is Pink. If my hair ever goes brown again, I won't hate pink so much. Went on a hunt for some good Egyptian books, but didn't buy any... >_> Lots of good ones would make good research books, and I even got a few ideas... X_X But they were all very wordy and very expensive. I like books that are cheap and full of pictures. Haha, hence the manga obsession! :D
I work box again from 6-X. TEH JOY! I forgot to pick up the schedule yesterday, and didn't find out if I'm working Halloween. AAAUGH! I'll find out later tonight, then. Probably will be, at any rate. X_X I wonder why we haven't done an employee screening of "Aliens" yet. Isn't it a big enough deal? o_O I'd probably scream my head off. Hahah... Ooh! I'm going to start buying Bubblicious. It's the perfect thing to have in box. Yesterday, it was me, by myself, for 6 hours and a broken mic that liked to give feedback at the worst moment. My ears, I tell ya what, OW! I ended up singing Broadway. I even did my own rendition of that infamous elementary school song...
Down by the bay
Where the watermelons go
Back to my home
I dare not go
'Cause if I do
My mother will say
[You ever see a bear
Combing his hair
Down by the bay?]
So I changed the part in the square brackets [...] to rhyming words of my own liking, after I did the other verse ("Llama eatin' your pajamas"). I did "Usagi eatin' Unagi" and "Rei anytime today" as well as "Ami eatin' pastrami." Couldn't come up with anything to rhyme with Minako, though. Har har. Some guy in the line for the FOX screening saw me doing the moves to the song, and was dancing along. Hehehe... Yeah, the box isn't soundproof, but it's not like I was horribly off key or nothin'... ^_^ That's how sad I get when I'm alone anyway. I start SINGING! :D
Ooh, must record Angel and Smallville tonight! Okay, set. It didn't record Alias the other night, but I watched the whole thing anywho... ^_^ Nothing missed.
Speaking of Alias, my brain is a traitor. I had my first experience with Sarkney (Sark/Sydney) last night, dreaming the two of them got together. o_O Which would never, ever, ever work, but wow... what a dream. Pretty darn steamy too. Sark had some wine, and he kissed Sydney, and she could taste it... (and so I could I! *blush*) Methinks Part 4 of WDKY is finally getting to me.
And I'm working on Part 7 now. *kicks chapter* Why must you be such a pain in the ass!? Last night in box, I came up with an idea for the title montage... for the sequel. Someone shoot me, I'm thinking sequel before I've even finished the first story! ;_; I have officially been diagnosed with "Starting what you can't finish" syndrome. And in terms of fics, I think my beginnings rule, and my endings tend to be pretty cool, but my middles SUCK.
Augh, I thought I posted this already... *clicky clicky*
