He Needed A Tampon

azuriteHey-lo! Just came home from my longest shift at work ever-- 7.5 hours! O_O If it weren't for Medicare being added to my tax deduction, I'd imagine such a shift would bring in some nice cash... thankfully, I had 3 breaks today, so I was pretty genki throughout the night. Kill Bill was on the second floor, which was supposedly packed with people the whole night, so I guess I was lucky to get the 7th floor shift and work with nice people. :) No bad customers or rude co-workers.
The freaky part was at the end of the day, when I was going home. There were a bunch of guys in suits and such, and this one homeless-looking lady got on the bus, looking for $1.25. The bus driver was being all impatient and rude, saying "I'm WAITING" and giving a lot of guff to the lady. Sure, she looked a bit rough around the edges, but he was rude from the start, not even giving the lady a chance. And besides, MUNI is a rip off nowadays anyways... he didn't have to be SO harsh. Well, the guys on the bus thought it was funny how the lady called the driver a grouch (she said, "I hope you have a nice night when you get off the bus, you grouch") as she got off. And so when THEY got off, they were sort of making fun of the bus driver, but the driver TOTALLY went overboard and started slowing the bus down at the pace of the guys, yelling at them for "talking shit" while they were getting off. Worse, he told a cop, and the cop pulled them over! It was so lame, the way they were ALL acting! It was just one big boy-fight over who got the last word, and I'm not sure who was playing the lamest role-- the driver, the guys in suits, or the cop! Sheesh.
Thankfully, I got horribly inspired today at work, so I used about 4 receipts up writing down ideas for my newest YGO fic, "What Doesn't Kill You." :D I'm going to work on Part 2 now, and maybe even get it up by the end of the night.
Tomorrow it looks like I'll be going shopping, but not WITH anybody, unfortunately... *sniffles* Because Joe is working and Dad wants to spend the day with Kathleen, since she hasn't had off work in a long time. So I'll probably go to Border's or J-Town and grab those manga I've been itching for... see what is new, and maybe grab some good eats. :) Sunday I go up as early as I possibly can to see my dad and the new kitten, named "Taz," after the Tazmanian Devil! Since she's a little bundle of psychotic energy, anyhow. :D *blaughlablaughaphhbbbt!* It's hard to WRITE the Tazmanian devil's sound, anyway...

~_~ I have too much to catch up on. Awards, fics, webpages... *goes ballistic* OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Yeah, I just ate an Oreo.
