It could have been worse... I think

azuriteAh, finally home. Work went by fast, thankfully, and I didn't get any guff for calling in sick yesterday-- I felt that lousy. Hot and cold flashes, dizziness, sleepiness... the whole nine yards. Euch. I almost fainted a few times today too, but I'm sure I'll be right as rain once I get some sleep and such.
My creative juices have been flowing at a flood rate lately, which makes me glad-- I've released Part 1 of my new Yu-Gi-Oh fic, "The Joke's On You" on both FFnet and MMorg-- I should make the announcement to azurite_updates, now that I think about it. :P Parts 2 and 3 will be coming soon, as 2 is almost done, and 3 is mostly plotted out. :D And thank Osiris for Kaiba, MAAAN, is he HOTT! :D I love that boy, he's my muse's new poster boy.
Speaking of which, can anyone explain why the Japanese-only released Tournament-forbidden God Cards are all in English-- mimicked completely off the English Konami style, and yet, Osiris' name is STILL changed to Slither?! I don't get it-- I thought that was just a 4Kids change for the anime. o_O
Looking to change the name of my Yu-Gi-Oh site too, once I release the new schmancy layout version, which I started working on today. I need to make a lot of graphics for it, and so it will be nice and uber original, but with lots of people to give props for. Any suggestions for titles, at any rate? I'm trying not to have the same name as some of these other places, like "dungeon" and "tomb" and "temple" and such. Or card names, unless they're COOL card names, because to be honest, "Change of Heart" was highly original and not that sensible. Maybe "Heart of the Cards," but in Japanese? o_O *shrugs*
10:30 I'm going to log off and watch Alias, which I recorded tonight... :D Yaaaay. I guess I'll try and go to sleep soon (sleeping did NOT come easy for me last night, as my hours were all whack and I ended up half-cleaning my room, half staying awake doing nothing) so I can wake up early enough to finish the dishes (argh, annoying mom) and work on the layout more. I work from 3-9 again tomorrow, which I think means I'll end up recording more shows? What are my Monday shows, anyway? o_O
Dad called me this afternoon-- he's got the kitten! It's a little, hyper, gray furball he says, and I took this weekend off so I could go up north and not only see Dad after a while, but meet the new family member! I'm trying to come up with names since all the ones Dad and I thought of (including Pook, Zippy, and Dustball) don't quite seem to fit... o_O I guess I have to see the cat to make sure. I can pick up my photos on Tuesday or Wednesday from Walgreen's, and maybe get a new camera while I'm at Walgreen's so I can take pictures of the new kitty! ;D Well, if worse comes to worse, we can always give the cat a really goofy name--
(1) Dog. Because we can.
(2) Mouser. Because that's its job.
Gwah, what else? It smells like fish in my house. Euck. X_X I can't think straight. Uhm... g'night!
