PARTAY AT THE SWEET HOUSE!
Sep. 15th, 2003 11:20 pmHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII EVERYBODY! *waits for everyone to respond*
Oh, come on, HUMOR ME!
Everyone: HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII MER!
:D That's better!
Guess what? Guess what? Guess what?
Everyone: *monotone* What?
It's Joe's birthday on the 19th! Not just any birthday, either. THE BIG... THE HUGE. THE FANTABULOUSO, ABSATIVELY POSLUTELY 'RAGEOUS...
21st BIRTHDAY!
Whew. ;) And, being the nice person I am, I offerred my house as a party zone. So all that's left is for everyone to come and celebrate 21 years of Joe! ;D YAY!
Here's the plan:
When: Friday, September 19th, beginning at approximately 5pm
Where: My house. If you need the address, phone number, or directions, AIM/call me. You should know how to reach me by now. If you don't, ask Joe. He knows, too.
What: A party. I thought we'd established that by now?
Why: Because we want to? ^^;
Who: You. And Joe. And me, cuz it's my house.
What are we going to do? Good question! We have lots of room, lots of tech stuff to play with, and a fantastic stereo system. Not to mention a faboo cook. *bats eyelashes* Hehee. It all depends on who comes and who wants to do what, but we can set up several TVs for anime-watching and video-game playing on various systems-- though it's highly recommended you bring your own games, controllers, and memory cards, since my stash consists mainly of an old SNES, a PSX, and a few RPGs. ^^;
We also have lots of fun games-- everything from the classics (Poker, Monopoly, Clue) to the outrageous (Hilarium, among others). Why games? Because it's a birthday party, and because I said so.
But since we'll be dragging you away from your Oh So Exciting Friday Festivities, we've also decided to entice you with the promise of food! We're not sure what kind of food yet, but if everyone wants Pizza or Chinese, we can order-- just make sure to bring a few bucks to chip in, since this is a birthday party, and "Teh Birthday Boy" shouldn't have to pay for anything. ;P We ask that everyone TRY to bring a bag of chips or soda or something-- even 2 bags of cookies would work. But I can't let EVERYONE raid my fridge, and we can probably only afford so much delivery/takeout... ;)
Finally, bring presents! Because it's a birthday, and how many of you need the perfect excuse to pay Joe back already? ^_^ Hahaa...
Festivities will continue all night long-- we'll watch movies, play games, eat food, and generally party like a bunch of unsupervised teens and semi-adults should on a Friday night! Go us! The following day (Saturday) we'll go to Sunnyvale Golfland and play video games until we're numb in the knuckles! It's recommended that people bring money for that too-- and if a lot of people want to go to SVGL, we ask people to either volunteer as drivers or figure out how to get there, cuz I sure as heck don't know-- and CalTrain is weird on the weekends. o_O
So, in summary:
Party on Friday, September 19th, beginning at 5pm at Casa de la Sweet (aka My House).
Continues till Saturday the 20th, when we go to SVGL, until people get sick of the place and/or are broke.
People should bring money for food, transportation, and SVGL games.
People should bring a gift or a card or whatever money they owe Joe, since it's his birthday, and it'd be tacky and rude not to.
People CAN (and are highly encouraged) to bring food, so we don't waste money.
No, my annoying mom will not be there. :)
SOOOOOO... ARE YOU IN!?
