~_~ 22 minutes and 6 hours until the wedding starts. I assume it's 22 minutes and 4 hours until we show up at the designated spot, which is some sort of nursery in Clovis (the middle of the central valley... urgh). But it's sure to be pretty, and thankfully not as hot as it would be if Brooke had her wedding at 11am, say.
I'm already dressed (no one better complain!) and perky... I must say, I look good. ^.~ I kinda wish I'd left that tattoo on that I'd put on last night, but I just know someone would complain about it... So I'm limited to my silver/pink necklace and earrings, my black plastic ring (someone might have a problem with THAT, too) and my friendship bracelet. o_O I feel like I'm exposing so much. You'll be able to see what I'm talking about once I get pictures up-- assuming I GET pictures! I couldn't afford a camera last night, because it was more expensive than I thought, and Mike (the guy that works at RTA) ended up suckering me into buying one of those $10 bracelets that let me free play all the non-redemption games until midnight-- and I actually stayed until the end, which scares me.
@_o I played DDR EX a few times, MAX 2 once, Police 911 2 (what a workout!) and Crazy Taxi... wasted $5 on token games that barely gave me ANY tickets... mucked around on some others for a while, but it got boring after a while. There was NO chance of playing Initial D *at all* and I haven't played in a month. I guess I have to go when all the high school fobbers (sorry, but it's true. If I took a picture of that crowd, you'd see what I mean. 85% of them, I swear) are "in school." Assuming they actually GO to school... >_>
Rewind! So I left the house last night around 6:10, because Mom made me stick around and do dishes and finish cleaning off the grill-- it's not perfect looking, but what can you do? She complains too much. She not only wants me to pay rent, but still keep doing the majority of the chores! And she says it's "doing my part," now that I'm 18. Ugh, I feel like Cinderella! Will, believe you me, you are NOT the only one who wants out of the house of the Parental Unit!
Got to RTA some time around 7:30... didn't seem like there were a whole lot of people there, but that changed. Played a few games, and come 8 o'clock, had to buy the wristband or get kicked out-- so I bought it, having spent a total of $15 (out of my starting value of $27) on RTA alone. ^^;; Weird. I finally got hungry sometime around 9:30 or so, so Joe, Cris, Jeremy and I went to In-N-Out-- of course, with Jeremy's teeth the way they are, he couldn't eat the burger he got; he planned to mush it up, but then he lost his appetite or something-- which must suck. ;_; Cris and Joe didn't want to eat at In-N-Out, so they went to Lou's across the street-- the place with all the music playing? Joe looked a bit upset that we didn't want to stick around, but Jeremy's parents could have picked up him up at any odd time, not to mention I had to go to Walgreen's, and he had to get a jet lighter. o_O
Well, the cameras at Walgreen's were too expensive, and since Jeremy already paid for my dinner (thinking he still owed me one... now I owe HIM one!) I couldn't afford it as it was, let alone borrow money from him. And they didn't have big enough bags (and I didn't see any boxes) for the scrapbook which is Brooke's present, so I got some wedding-themed wrapping paper-- I bought too much though, but it wasn't expensive, and it IS pretty, so I don't mind. X_X A lot to take in there...
Anyway, by the time Jer and I got back to RTA, there were more peeps there, so it was quite fun! I eventually didn't feel so full (despite not having finished my burger... er, the bun, anyway) and started playing more games, but midnight came rather quickly. I played so much DMX! I actually managed a few Wild courses, which made me proud, though I still have to work on those combo moves, where you have to do a top sensor and a bottom sensor at the same time... o_O It took me long enough to get them in DDR! But yeah, so I play DMX and DDR. I *tried* to play Beatmania, but I SUCK SO BADLY. I just don't have eye-finger coordination. Typing is one thing, but then, Joe beat me at that damned Typing of the Dead game... then again, he has a blasted Ergonomic Keyboard of Doom!!!
LOL... reading all the comments people have to say pertaining to amandagrace (I know, I know, dead topic, but this shit is funny) on LJDrama... omg, I'm going to be rolling on the floor for hours. I wonder if *I'm* here anywhere. Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? o_O
Ho-hum... didn't go to the Metreon last night, but then again, Lonnie didn't call me. And if I'd *tried* to go to the Metreon, I have a feeling a) he wouldn't be there, and b) it'd be a waste of my time, only having a half-hour to go there before the place closes altogether. I called Lonnie on my way to the Pier... very hard to do, mind you, I had to like, pace myself... I'm making a big deal out of nothing now, I know, I have to be, but I can't help but worry about him. Really... three weeks is longer than last time, and it's like... not even a peep. Not a single call, message, text, email, ANYTHING. I guess if I can pick up my paycheck in two weeks I'll be setting up a Cyberhunt account and... well, if he comes in, he comes in. In my message, I basically said I hoped he was safe, healthy, happy, and not stressing over work or school... I figured he was busy a lot and that's why I couldn't get ahold of him... and, because it's been nagging on my conscience, I said I was sorry (which I truly am!) about the last time I saw him... with the jealousy and the rah rah rah. So all I can do now is wait.
12:05. Only 25 more minutes to go...
I <3 Thalia. I don't think I can pronounce her name right just yet-- is it "Ta-lia?" or do you pronounce the "Th" like "Thhhhh" ? o_O;
I re-read INVU last night and now want to get into writing fics for it. I'm going to see if there's any INVU fics on FFnet or other sites... if not, then it's going on my Archive Obscura. ^_^ I will get it done! Well, I honestly can't think of much else to say... I'm going to be the guestbook girl. This'll be interesting. I don't think I'll have compie access down in the Middle of Nowheresville (*coughcough*Doldrums*coughcough*) so... talk to you guys Monday! :)
Have a nice weekend!
