Yep, new pants. Lots of zippers and pull-ties. FUN.

My inner child is sixteen years old today

My inner child is sixteen years old!

Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while
adults might just accept that, I know
something's gotta change. And it's gonna
change, just as soon as I become an adult and
get some power of my own.

How Old is Your Inner Child?

Blah, downloading all 250 of these images is going to take tiiime. And I know I won't want them all, I was just too lazy to pick through each one.

Props to Lizchan for letting me know when the Alias premiere is. They haven't scheduled me for working much this week, but it does say on my contract thingy, whatever it is, I have to work at least one Friday, Saturday, and Sunday a month, though not necessarily the same weekend... and the hours might change, depending on the season and help needed. In any case, October 25th is a big staff meeting, I have off for the wedding Saturday and Sunday, and I took off for next Friday, since it's Joe's birthday. I don't know whether they'll HONOR said request, since it IS a Friday, but it's not like there's going to be any huge movies coming out between now and then, right?

Yikes, and it's not like Chris needs me to add to his slew of 23 comments (I will anyway ;P) but hey, dude, when's the next big get-together? I missed out on the last one, and I *do* miss everybody! *sniffle-wiffle* And you didn't call me! No one calls me... *sniff*

I also neglected to mention that for the first scene of "Once Upon A Time In Mexico" Banderas/Mariachi = Squall. I am dead serious.

Remaking my 'anime' icon for LJ... this one's going to have a semi-more updated me, until I can come up with better icons. >) I certainly have the templates for them.

HAVE TO MAKE THE AWARDS TOMORROW! MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST!

I'm thinking maybe I should have a challenge to awaken the fanart side of our ML, and challenge people to do fanart for various categories (can anyone define some artistic categories for me though; maybe computer-generated, pencil-only, inked, etc... and then, the ones drawn for sheer humor, and for serious reasons)... with certain fanfics to have as 'required reading.' From there, artists can choose one of many (or one of all) scenes to fanart... and we see what we do with the winners. Sound interesting?

Uhm, I'm forgetting something, I know I am...

This wasn't what I forgot, but I have to work on The Cynic as a column now, not to mention countless other webpages.

Grace has a lot of artistic talent. *envy envy* If she ever did a straight series, I bet she'd get published. I shit not. I can't do that. I have a hard time trying to illustrate all those kids stories I've come up with. You go girl. Between this whole bunch of friends, we have the creative globe covered-- fashion/hair, drawing, writing, computer design... am I forgetting someone or something? We rock. ;)

Have I mentioned lately how damn COOL John Cusack is? I wanna see him (among other cool actors) in Runaway Jury (whee, and I can see it for FREEEEEEE!) ... I loved him in Identity, and hsi voice for Dmitri in Anastasia rocked. ;)

Will start playing Ragnarok soon. Hence the first paycheck going, at least in part, to Cyberhunt account. MUST. WORK. ON. PROJECT. No ifs ands or buts. And I'll have to finish it, if I'm spending MONEY on it.

My Dad is going to lecture me on our way to Fresno (with Kathleen and Sally, GRRL RIDE!) about my job, I just know it. :P It's not bad already, and overtime is like, $16/hour. Whee.

I remembered something else nice and random-- I saw it on Judah and 19th when I got those 'lish coconut buns-- there's a perfume called Precis! Hehe... like the SO2 character!? ^^; Yeah.

Hmm, Leon *is* interesting. Maybe he's half-Fellpoolian. In the first game, there was a girl (cat-girl, to be precise) with ear and tails that could supposedly transform into a full-cat. She was rare and hard to get, and her race (Lesser Fellpool) is supposedly uncommon, even in the past of Roak (where Fellpoolians come from, and where SO1 takes place). Therefore, Leon's not a full Lesser Fellpoolian (not having a tail or transformation abilities... that and Lesser Fellpoolians aren't suposed to be all that smart) or a full Fellpoolian-- he doesn't have a tail, he has cat ears. So, methinks he's a genetic experiment-- or a half-Lesser Fellpoolian.

GIRLY GIRL - Clever Kitty
A GIRLY-GIRL. You dont have a lot of self-esteem
and people are always bringing you down for
being sad. What do they know, anyway? You feel
like youre too mature for your age and are
frustrated by the trend-followers who refuse to
accept you because youre not like them.
Your virtues: Intelligence, understanding nature,
modesty.
Your flaws: Lack of social life, inferiority
complex, timidity.

What kind of girl are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

@_o Really? I could go for the intelligence and understanding nature, but I don't think I'm modest. I HOPE I don't have a lacking social life (well...) or some sort of inferiority complex. And me, timid? HAHA... this test only had three possible results though, so cut me some slack.

I haven't done NBoR or Oekaki in a long time. Hmmm....

Oh, and today is September 11th. I had my good cry, but some people have er, instigated me into saying something SHORT, but further--
(1) We're still at war. For reasons I can't really comprehend, and if I, an 18 year old with the power to vote, doesn't know why my friends are in Iraq getting blown up (or not) then we shouldn't be there.
(2) We were supposedly "getting revenge" (which is stupid and petty to begin with) on Osama bin Laden (where'd he go, anyway?) for what happened. When we really should have just rethunk our own safety and "homeland security."
(3) Uhm, "get over it, move on?" I'm a hypocrite in saying this, since I've said to my mom that she sentimentalizes Michelle too much, even after all these years of death. But let me say this of that-- you NEVER "get over" someone dying. When it's unexpected like that too, it's even harder. No preparation, nothing. And for the record, the people that died in September 11th-- how many of them could actually have proper burials or memorials? Very few, if any. People were BAKED ALIVE in those buildings, others crushed. Some people fell, all 110 stories. You wanna see a picture of someone after they've fallen 110 stories? It's not pretty. And they were not just stuffy old adults-- there were kids on the planes, kids on the street, maybe even kids in the building for whatever reason. And my Mom's right, until you have kids of your own and lose them (how terrible to outlive your own kids) then shut the hell up, you don't know the feeling.
(4) Mariah's right, two wrongs don't make a right, screw the whole "eye for an eye" thing. It makes no sense, and was invented by some crackpot who needed to excuse or justify inhumane and cruel behavior. Going overboard, btw, is a matter of judgment, and therefore should be left to the people directly affected by 9/11. Don't tell people to "get over it" or "get help" when you haven't even batted an eyelash.

I'd wanna get a pet if I ever lived on campus... :P but they told me-- NO PETS! Not even things like iguanas or fish. :P That sucks. Too bad there's no such thing as pet dependency. (Like the opposite of allergy?) Hmm, iguanas. Interesting.
