Ah, the good old Usenet...

azuriteAh, see, cleaning up my comp has some plus sides to it! I've been typing out various lists of non-working files. The majority of them are ones I have backups of, thankfully. I still haven't looked into a Klez-reversal device, but might as well not get my hopes up; I doubt there's any such thing. In any case, I'm pretty good at remembering old fics and titles and the like... and I've had a LOT of disorganized crap on here, since lord knows when. I mean yeesh, old DDR lyrics? ^^;
Also, in going through my old image folders, I've rediscovered the wonderful world of the Usenet. I used to get a crapload of images from them, and now I'm doing it again! This time I'll be burning an endless amount of CDs though, once I get decent sized collections of images, so this time they won't get corrupted! I suppose I ought to do something like that for my Photoshop originals too, so they don't get ripped off... not to mention fanfiction, ideas, websites, and, oh yeah... music! AMVs! Er, and... and... anime episodes? KISS DOLLS! Yeah, KISS DOLLS!
So I'm browsing through the Usenet, and there's all this delicious information! Like, for example, you know how lately a lot of Japanese publishers that are rereleasing their manga. I don't know particularly about Ranma 1/2, which is the one with the freaky inverted covers (color-wise), but according to Naoko's site, she's rereleasing Sailormoon with all new artwork and storylining, touching up the originals... and Tokyopop wants to forget their Mixxzine days and rerelease it too! The first two volumes are being released later this month, and then one volume a month every month after that, up until Volume 12 (6 volumes from the end), to presumably coincide with the live action Sailormoon series going on in Japan right now! Ubercool! I can't wait to get my hands on some of these... I wonder if this was the same thing Yuu Watase did with FY? Because the artwork on those bigger, more-expensive volumes didn't look the same... >_> Hm. Also, the "name" of Sailormoon in Japan is apparently "Pretty Guardian Sailormoon," rather than "Pretty Soldier Sailormoon." o_O
Gah, I knew I should have copied this CD I borrowed from Aileen earlier! Mom just came home, and she immediately bitches to me about a small pile of dishes! GAUGH! CD, copy already! Yeesh, I'm already dusting all the rooms, fixing the couch up... shiza, I even COOKED for them without them asking me to last weekend, and I barely got any thanks! And I did all those dishes THAT night, too! And I've been good about doing them lately, but I'm BUSY ENOUGH AS IT IS TODAY dealing with this dumb computer, going OUT OF MY WAY to take her dry-cleaning, and NOW THIS!?!?!? GAUGH! She can deal with the dishes herself, especially if she's going to bring her dumb boyfriend here AGAIN for dinner! HMPH!
*sigh* Okay, never mind. You know what, I need cash for dinner and maybe games, so I'll do them. And maybe I'll be late tonight. I just better not miss the new Full Metal Panic season.
