What Holiday Food Are You?

I want to participate in a holiday challenge. Is yuugiouxmasfic still around? If not, anyone want to do a holiday challenge of some kind? I'm up for almost anything...

So yesterday was ohsupervinchan's birthday, along with an early celebration for captainahoge and Chris (a new Chris, not the other two Chrises).

But it was awesome. We were at the Play-N-Trade in San Mateo, and I've never thought of a game store as a place to have a party before, but the shop workers were super-nice and very accommodating, and it was quite fun. I played "Rock Band" for the first time-- I tried my hand at the drums first (failed miserably) moved onto guitar (sucked at first, eventually got the hang of it to the point where, on "Easy" mode, I got up to 97% of the notes) and then SHONE as a vocalist. Would you believe I got a "Flawless 100%" doing "Dani California?" I mean seriously, Red Hot Chili Peppers-- and moi, singing? But I was beaming like a Batman searchlight. It's always nice to kick ass at a game, even if it's a song on easy mode!

Also, the Spritz cookies I made were an apparent big hit with everyone, because the huge boxful got completely eaten by the end of the party. It was my present to Vince and Richie (mainly because I couldn't afford to BUY anything they'd want), but I'm glad everyone enjoyed it and I got to see most everyone again. It was nice catching up, as well as meeting some new people.

Now SOME of those new people... well, there was one very nice guy, but he had a problem with staring at my chest. ALL. THE. TIME. I didn't say anything (at first, I thought he might have a lazy eye problem and mentioning how his eyes seemed to keep wandering would be rude... but after a while, it was clear he had no problem looking up OCCASIONALLY, so long as most of the time his eyes were fixed on my boobs), but I got uncomfortable enough to the point where I started crossing my arms over my chest or hiding behind the counter so that only my shoulders and head were visible from where he was standing. It didn't help. I've frankly never been in such a position before (at least, not when I noticed it so readily), so I didn't want to say anything, but it was really awkward for me. I think if it ever DID happen again, I'd be like "Hey buster, my face is up here!" Ugh. It's not like I was wearing a revealing shirt, anyway-- I had a gray turtleneck on with a turquoise ribbed shirt over that! It's like, if I were more covered up, I'd be Amish (except wearing black and white and a dress, not pants)!

Anyway, I've got school work that I've been procrastinating on to do, so... off I go!

I want you to know I did NOT look at your previous entry. I am INSANE curious but I won't look if you don't want me to (I'd probably protest, emphatically. It's taking all my energy not to protest NOW and I don't even know what you're planning).

And I'd like to participate in a ygo xmas challenge thing. I actually have a new fic in the works and THANK god it's a oneshot ^_~

Good! I'm glad I don't have to be paranoid about FLocking the entry into specific groups. :P I trust you.... Consider it a "do not look until Christmas" entry.

As for an Xmas challenge thing, what are we up for? Short, long? Any fandom, YGO, pairings? Maybe we should set something up for everyone that thinks they'll have the time.

I'd probably be able to handle a short one - oneshot to like four parter max. And any fandom (that I'm familiar with XD) sounds cool, with or without pairings.
