Why can't Friday come FASTER!?

azuriteGuh, all today I've just been wishing the day would go by faster. Even though I got to sleep in and the classes were only 30 minutes long, it still felt like forever dragged on. There was the Calendar Sales meeting today at 3:30, too, so I had to stay an extra class period to wait for it... in Diesel's class, thankfully, which was all to myself. I spent my time *trying* to surf LJ (the school 'Net's been a biatch lately) and such, and also scanned some images from when I went to TCF with Ai, Mehg, and Emmy, along with some MGL pics. But until I get Dreamweaver 4 on the school comps (I think I figured out how to give certain *wink wink* accounts administrator priveleges) I can't do much, because FTPing the images and then downloading them to my comp with DM4 on it takes too long... not to mention my DM4/Fireworks has been PMSing lately. >_> Grr.
I got the sale dates for the anime club... the new treasurer recommended we sell caramel ("it's carmel!") lollipops again, which are pretty popular with students... all the same, club attendance has dropped drastically, and I need something cool to get everyone back. I'll be looking into sweatshirt designs and costs later tonight, when I'm more awake... I'm tired right now, ironically, since I had two cherry cokes in the course of two hours. x_X Anyway, the sale dates we wanted (April 8th and the 10th) were taken at the beginning of the meeting, so we have April 1st and 3rd. Yay us. Ickiness though-- Mayfest has been moved to April, which makes no sense. Apparently they'll call it "Spring Fling" (which sounds more like a cliched dance theme) or something to that effect. Blech. I just hope it doesn't rain. Traditionally, I do anime-styled artwork, and last year, we did face painting. Maybe we'll try a game this year too... picking up marbles with chopsticks or something. Tee hee. Cool thing is, whenever the day is, we can have guests on campus, since school will be a special half-day. >_> So if anyone wants to come and support my school/hang out with me/help my poor club... it'd be much obliged! ^_^
I was going to come home and just play Star Ocean, but I wanted to get all this outta the way, in case I sleep too long. Mm, I finally uploaded the new photos and page for Snapshot... there's 59 snapshots now, and more on the way! Yay! Now I have to make note of that in my Updates! page, along with the fact that I uploaded Dream a Dream to FFnet. FFnet is also FFcom now. -.- I can't even remember what the original FFcom looked like, but now it just redirects to FFnet. Fun. I always seem to upload to FFnet first, which sucks, because I forget about the smaller personal archives, my own sites, and the other archives, like SMRFF and Aria's Ink. The latter two are only Sailormoon, but *still.* I really gotta get back into my SM groove for WAFF day... and I gotta make a layout for that too, yes I do.
Speaking of layouts, I was sorta helping Jeremy out with the new cbDOTcom layout. It's kinda weird looking and tacky imho, but that's because I've been designing since 1997 and have been online since 1990. Thank you, Kinko's! So, in the spirit of friendly competition (seriously) I was working on a beta version of cbDOTcom that fit Jeremy's specs but matched the boards more closely. Only problem is, some cell bgs don't want to show up, and I still have to design a CSS file for it. >_< Gah, but my beta-version is located here: http://azurite.rosedreams.org/cbDOTcom. Be sure to keep the 'dot' in CAPS, or it won't work. Oh, and tell me what you think of course, and maybe why those damn cell bgs aren't showing up. >_<
I just finished talking to Taisuke not long ago. He's nice even on the phone... I suppose... aside from the cracks about my height, that is. *sigh* Guess I can never win. But I can't help it, I like tall guys! *whimper* That doesn't mean they have to bend down to look at me, or tease me about my height or liking of heels! *sniff* Hmph. Anyway, he sounded kinda tired... but we talked for a half hour all the same, about landlords, online quizzes, a party he went to with a buncha gay guys (don't ask) and other schtuff. We're both keeping Saturday open, I guess, to watch 13 Ghosts together... >_> Eee, where's Roro when I need her!? I'm NERVOUS goldernit!
Still have to do dishes, get milk, print my article out, finish scanning those photos (at school), play Star Ocean, write fics, etc. Speaking of fics, I got a pretty good response for "Dream a Dream" on FFnet, my doujinfic of Clara's "School Daze." No one's accused me of plagiarism yet, but it's harder than I thought using my own words to describe the introductory chapters, when nothing major diverges from her plot and mine until later. But I'm trying, with switching from 1st to 3rd person POV, adding some more descriptions after words or actions... yeah. But I could still use some help. I always need help, but my editors like to back out on me. Feh.
I'm tired now. I've been tired a lot lately... I shouldn't be tomorrow or Friday, I hope, since I'll have much to do. Still have to go to Richter's, go to In-N-Out... ugh, I hope mom gives me money for Friday. *_* Okay, going now...

The site nav I feel should be on the left side. And don't bother coordinating with the board, Jeremy plans on changing skins every few months, just make something that looks nice.

Yeah, I was thinking 'left' too for the navigation, since it's standard that way and better for the smaller resolutions. Mm, as for the board coordination, I did that just because Jer said he wanted to, only his version didn't seem so exact, so I wanted to make an example. But somehow the HTML got screwed up and it didn't turn out the way I wanted...
