For the ladies: Like guardian_kysra, my gift to you (albeit early) is something of your choice, be it fic or art. Just give me some sort of prompt or specifications and I'll try to get it to you, if not by the day of your birthday, then within a few days of it. Just remember to be as specific as possible, and to stick with fandoms (where applicable) that I know. :)

For the gent: Get yer butt down here (with enough advance notice, mind) and you'll get into Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure for free, that's my present! Oh, and I suppose I'll treat you to a Supreme Cupcake. It comes with a free plastic ring, for exspecial coolness. :D

Okay, what follows is a bit of a vague poll, designed to help me sort out the prompts Kysra gave me for her birthday fic. Normally prompts and me work very well together, and I get good ideas even from the most random of words or phrases, but this time, it's not gelling for me, and I feel really stupid. Maybe it's because what Kysra came up with has SO MUCH POSSIBILITY, and I'm just not sure what direction to go.

When was it? I'm sorry! I just got the idea for this pin-making thing when I saw LJ's announcement that Kysra's birthday was coming up, so perhaps I didn't get the notification prior to the idea, or I simply didn't get the notification at all... ?

Also, I'd love another vacation out of the city, but it'll be a while before Disneyland is on my list of things to do, so don't hold your breathe.

It's a really huge cupcake.

Also, the Main Entrance pass is really at its best after August 11th anyway (when I can get you into both parks for free), but obviously should be taken advantage of before early January, when I leave. So no breath-holding here, but the offer is extended, so just keep it in mind for a day when your inner cynic needs a break. :P

I know, my poll answers were so helpful, right? Well, given the information you gave, here is what Nina's Instant Prompt Generator spit out:

There is a party to which a reluctant Kaiba has been dragged. Said party is to celebrate the 28 million-yen mark on the release of Kaiba's new VR game. Being unusually responsible for his age (21-ish), Kaiba restricts himself to a couple of drinks (also because if he had to come he wasn't going to suffer alone, so he dragged Anzu with him and there's no way he's going to let her drink him under the table, thanks). Another party (not the KC one) gets rather rowdy, and rather than get caught up in it - Kaiba does not need any more pictures in the tabloids, thanks - he drags Anzu out. (You take it from there. I see their relationship in this case being established, but very tentatively so - they've come to like each other a bit, and there's a definite physical attraction, but most of their relationship is still based on competition, not trust.
