azuriteUgh, slept in today-- not a good sleep. Those are few and far between still. I'm still having strange dreams that I can only remember portions of when I wake up, and by the time I'm fully conscious and stuff, the memories are gone entirely.
I played more SO2 today and FINALLY made it down to Level 7. I even ran into "Santa," and bought myself some Sage Stones, Damascus, and a Tri-Emblem. Couldn't afford the Santa's Boots though, as I was 300,000 Fol short. =P For the record, Santa doesn't look like SANTA, he looks like any other shopkeeper in the game. o_O Oddly enough, like an Arab. (Santa's Arabian!) Whatever.
BUT NOOO... I had to die on the 7th level while searching for the CRacked Orb. Stupid monsters. And Rena takes forever to run away! ;_; So now I have to start all over again and go all the way back down. There's no guarantee that Santa will be there this time around, and who's to say I'll even survive this time? The hard thing is, who to equip with what, what formation to use, and what party members to use.
Chisato's best weapon is the Weird Slayer, so I keep her in the party, since I tend to run into Weird monsters. And, even if I don't, it's still got a higher attack than her Psychic Gun. Now, the hard part. The Funny creatures are MUCH more common, but who do I equip with the Funny Slayer? Claude would be the best choice, since I control him and all, but his attack is reduced considerably when using it instead of the Eternal Sphere. He also doesn't get the cool stars-bursting thing, which can add to attack power. =P So I thought, okay, I'll use it on Precis, but she dies so easily! She uses up her MP pretty fast too-- I love her Bloody Mary attack against the PunkPonks, but... *sigh* I'm trying to level everyone up evenly-- so far, Claude, Rena, Opera, and Precis (I think) are my most powerful, but I need several of Celine, Noel, Chisato, and Leon's attacks to get through the bosses. I alternate the party members once one person of a certain class (Mage, Fighter) gets to a level that another party member has.
It's going to be a lot of work getting them again... and I think this time I'll have to go back to Lacour to get supplies, then to Linga... I'm not sure *when* I succeeded in writing the songs for the Illusive Shamisen, but did you know that if you use the one that is supposed to increase Max HP, it will DECREASE the HP and MP of everyone in your party if they already have 9999 HP? I don't know what the Max for MP is, but yikes! Good thing I didn't go into the CoT like that! =P
*sniff* So much to do! Chibi and I have started to work on PSV again, so I went and downloaded the rest of the images. I have a lot of fixing up to do! I really wish I had a scanner so I could just scan in all my images, but I suppose that would take a lot more time. Still, the images would be facing the right direction, and regardless of my having to resize and recolor the graphics, it'd be better than having to edit out the crappy stuff the brat who stole my idea did! Ugh... the only thing is, the Vmanga section is the only part of her site that I can honestly complain about. She's got good content, for the most part. Gaugh, I just need to finish PSV with everyone, and WHOOPAH! =D
@_@ I finished making brownies... they have walnuts in them. Or pecans, one of the two. They're pretty fudgy, for something made with only baking chocolate. I baked them for 25 minutes like the directions said, took them out when the toothpick came out of the center 'sticky,' but they're still kind of mushy. @_@ They taste good, but... I put them in the fridge to solidify and cool some.
Also finished Part 2 of "Spooferlicious." Hm, I'm not so good at Comedy, but I'm sure with Siggy's help, the future chapters will be riotous. I don't know if it'll count for the Usa Week entries on the SMRFF, since it wasn't so Usa-centric, and wasn't all that funny... =P Blah. I wish there'd been more participation. *sniffles* Tried to upload Part 5 of "Twisted Fate" to FFnet, but that didn't work-- stupid FFnet keeps giving me an error. The damn document doesn't have a bad filename, *is* a TXT document, and isn't open when I try to upload. I sent the support crew a message, so hopefully it's some silly bug they'll resolve soon.
Meanwhile, reading Fushigi Yuugi. I've been going through my computer and tossing out all those old files of stuff that got destroyed from that SirCam virus a while back. So many images that I'll never have again! I tried to search google for some of them, but that was a dead end waiting to happen. The thing that upsets me the most is all the ideas files I lost. I really wish I'd had the smarts to put those online before the virus, or give them to a friend, put them on a floppy--- SOMETHING! But nooo, now I'm missing 140KB of Fushigi Yuugi fanfiction ideas ALONE! That's excluding the actual fanfics, notes, and ALL the other fandoms! *sigh* I wish something restored those files. I really wish something did. =P
It's really irritating when I accidentlly press some foriegn combination of keys, and all of a sudden my words (when I type them) turn to gibberish. Those of you that have chatted with me in AIM before know that sometimes all of a sudden, I'll type 'xpx' which is SUPPOSED to be 'brb' but it's all gone wrong. =P Well, no program is immune to it. It's happened twice in the past 10 minutes with semagic alone, and happens with IE, WordPad, and everything else I have that you can type into. =P I want to believe that it's something to do with my language settings thing, but... I'm nervous that it might be another virus. ;_; In which case, does anyone have a virus scanner that's compatible with XP? My Norton Antivirus died. So...
Fics I wanna work on... Haraguroi Yuugi for sure, since I've been in an FY mood. Random Sailormoon stories, especially my unfinished ones. Peach Girl-- "My Song," since I keep coming up with more songs for Momo to sing! ^_^ Summer might be confusing, but at least it's inspirational! Gaah, my neck hurts, and I have classes tomorrow... *whine* Good thing I did the dishes and took out the trash already. I might just go to bed soon. (Though, knowing me, 'soon' will turn into 3 hours from now. *yawn*)
