Mmm, purple!

azuriteI *finally* got my Windows XP theme to change... it's now a lovely purple theme called "Elusive." Gah, it was giving me so much trouble and everything, I was afraid my computer had gone screwy again! But it's all working, and as far as I know, so is the Avril Logon Screen I got... I think... >_> Maybe I should just switch back to Momo to be safe.
Anyway, so I've been on a writing/photoshop rampage the past several hours, making new LJ icons, working on the Star Ocean fanfic "Perfect World" ... I have some nice reviewers to thank for that. But I have to get myself back INTO SO2 by playing again, as FFIX has sort of been absorbing me. But Vivi's SO CUTE! ;_; How can I resist?? My mission for Fanime:
* Get TREASURE and SECOND TREASURE Star Ocean manga artbooks for cheaper than at Kinokuniya ($67)
* Get a Vivi plushie
* Get a Moogle plushie
So that's the plan.
Let's see... worked on PW, worked on the EAGLE ONLINE layout (the old layout was pretty damn cool looking, though I *did* base it off another school's layout. You know me with layouts, I have the creativity for content and images, but placement? Not my strong suit) some, and am checking my email. LOTS of new fics and reviews! WHEE! ^_^ I'm going to be here for a while, reading stuff...
So far have made three new LJ icons-- one of Rena, a photo of myself, and one of myself, sort of, in Chibi-anime form. Bonnie seems to think it's cool how I edited the original image-- which is an edit of a KiSS doll. @_@ Does changing colors and adding filters/effects really mean you're skilled? ^^;; I thought she was going to be mad at me for using someone else's artwork! Most of us here on LJ do, unless we take photos and use them.
I should really get a paid account at this point, since I'd like to make a layout once and for all, and get more icons. =P Mostly just the icons! Oh, and paid members have access to the 'directory' so you can search for other members. I think it is SO screwed up that free members can't do that! Geez, it's not even like it's so special that paid members should be able to do it. Layouts and extra icons I can understand; that means extra space on the LJ's server/bandwith. But honestly, using a silly search tool? =P
Gah, I've been neglecting my homework so much today. There's still that rotten POW, not to mention my Macbeth essay for my English final... the EAGLE ONLINE pages, which WILL take a while, especially since the real paper hasn't come out yet, and I have to download the *.pub file from my site (it's around 40MB in size!) ... AND I still have much to burn, copy, work on... ;_; I've been listening nonstop to the Utada Hikaru "Distance" CD for the whole day... since I got up and did most of the dishes at around 2:30. *coughcough*NO LIFE!*coughcough*
Going through some of my picture files, it occurs to me that some sections are overwhelmingly large, while others are so meager and sad... one of my summer missions will definitely be to get rid of all my "Non-Working Files," since restoring them from their corrupted SirCam state is pretty much hopeless. I can try to write down file names of images and such in the hopes that I can one day find them again... but a lot of things (HTML, TXT, and DOC files of fanfics, in particular) are lost for good. Same goes for MP3s... I rememeber I used to get a lot of them from the 'Anime Hoarde' sites, which are gone now, as far as I know... and there was that one HUGE archive of Ranma songs, but I don't think that's around anymore either. =P
Haha, I just found this one HORRIBLY wrong Star Ocean fanart image-- it's got Dias, Claude, Leon, Ashton, and Ernest-- only they're wearing some other girl's respective clothing! Haha... Dias is blushing in Celine's TINY getup, Claude looks embarassed in Rena's uniform, while Ashton is, of all things, POSING in Precis' outfit, Leon is being his cute self and posing too, while Ernest is looking away, and it appears he's smoking a cig. Haha, you just have to see it for yourself:
Ahaha... *ahem* I guess that wouldn't make much sense if you never played SO2, now would it? But I think it's funny. Dias looks adorable.
Okay, so now I'm feeling all creative and excited, but my leg's going numb, and there's people that I wish I could be talking to right now, but they're not online or something... =P Yeah, "or something." I suck at talking to people I know. Haha.
And I'm acting weird now. Must have been something in the ravioli. Maybe I should go calm down and play FFIX now. @_@; Or something. Mmm, purple.
