Yeah, so I'm not a flat-chested hairy guy about to become the sacrifice of the Kali cult in 1935 India, but you get the idea. My heart got ripped out of my chest today. Today fucking sucks. End of story.

I'm totally on your side with this, but I will say this much: you eventually get over it. I dunon if you remember the whole Chi/Phi thing Ely and I went through 5 years ago, but that was hell for me. Much the same as what you're going through, I think. You do get over it. People are assholes, and in the end, I'm sure they'll get theirs. :D

You'll look back one day, grin and say "What a fucktard." Until then, don't worry about feeling down about it: I know I expect you to.

Nah, I think it's just as much of a waste of energy to get worked up over a stranger's opinion as it is to waste that energy on "hate" of someone or something.

I don't really remember the Chi/Phi thing that well, but I'd hate to dredge it up to find out details and see what you mean. But I do appreciate it, and it's nice to know I'm not alone, and this kind of thing does happen to other people that don't deserve it.

I plan on getting back to work. :)

Definitely was wishing for a punching bag earlier. And in lieu of the RTT, I screamed into my balled-up sweater.

And it's not insensitive-- you're right. I capped the movie specifically for that scene. :P I would have disclaimed it, but I figured a) many people would recognize it and b) I gave enough hints with the "1935 Kali cult in India" thing. But for anyone wondering, yeah, it's from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. :P
