Lafayette the school by the ocean...

cutieme4u, but I don't know if you remember who Natalia Benenson is.
I sure as hell do. She was one of my friends (sort of) way back when... We hung out with Denise Rances, Katie Savchuk, and Ella Whose-Last-Name-I-Cannot-Remember! And she was just on The Price is Right. I don't know why I had the bizarre urge to watch it this morning (maybe because I've decided that by getting my license, it will be one more thing I can do that I've ALWAYS wanted to do...) but I did... and there she was. And I knew it was her-- not just her name, but her face, the way she dressed, even her behavior! That and, she's tan. She moved to Arizona for middle school I think, so one can't blame her for getting a bit darker.
Holy crap.
She didn't win though. Alas~! She got stuck playing the poker game, and you know poker-- house always wins. Today's show's prizes were kind of lame, anyway. The best thing in the second half of the show was an ugly hatchback neon yellow Ford Focus. She also went over when it came time to spin the wheel for the Showcase Showdown, and she almost exited the stage from the wrong direction. ^^;
I last saw her on Wheel of Fortune 2000, the kiddy version of the show of the almost-same name. Heh. What's up with Natalia and game shows, anyway? Nonetheless, it was funny to see her again.
Not like I had this awe-inspiring wonderful elementary school experience (anything but, actually), but it made me think-- it's been over 10 years since I graduated elementary school. Why didn't we have some sort of cheeseball reunion this June or something, huh? What's up with that? :P
