Sucks that life can't be more like an anime. Or something. I wish I'd been born Japanese, and had to go to some difficult school there. I wouldn't mind the uniforms. *sigh* I just hate the schools here. There's at least one bomb threat every month. There's always something wrong with the student government or their plans, teachers are either evil or retiring, going on sabbatical or whatever... the food is always nasty and expensive... blah. Back on the teachers thing-- they're the main reason I want to get the hell out of Wash ASAP.

Of all teachers, Diesel really pissed me off -or should I say upset me?- today. I think while looking for eagle images to use as a template for the senior spread I muttered a curse word (ooh! POOR ME!) and Diesel got upset about it. He's usually pretty leinent about everything, and sometimes that's annoying. But in this case, he was getting on my ass because I said "fuck!" Okay, admittedly, I've been trying to cut down on swearing and all, but hear me out here. I was a little bit infuriated that he had to stick his head in my business while I was working --all he ever does is nag nag nag about getting $75 ads, when all we seem to do is waste whatever money we get. I said "Grow up" and he just blew up at me! For pete's sake, it's not like we go to SI or Sacred Heart or some Catholic school where bad-mouthing is a sin. We're highschoolers! And I'm not the only one prone to "potty-mouth" every now and then.

Diesel's a damned hypocrite too. He made me go outside and wait until I'd calmed down-- when he was finally done yabbering to some guy that'd walked up to him, he storms over to me and starts saying how disrespectful I am, how I swear at least 6 times a day (totally untrue! I rarely talk at all in journalism, I'm usually glued to the computer or listening to music-- and most of the time, there's no reason for me to get mad and swear! The number kept decreasing too-- the idiot, when he actually shows up, wouldn't know anything about me), and how he'll kick me out of the class (it's April! He can't do that! Besides that, I've been in the class for nearly 4 years now, and I'm pretty much keeping the paper alive! True, people like Colleen, Cassie, and Eva have their integral roles in all, but there's a reason why I'm the editor-- I have to know and check EVERYTHING. It was damn stressing last year, and admittedly, it's better this year, but that doesn't mean I take it any less seriously). What a bunch of $#!t! >_< But the way he was yelling at me, I felt so terrible (not because of what I'd done, but how he was treating me) and almost wanted to cry right then and there. How pathetic. I refuse to be that kind of crybaby whiner anymore. Yes, I like to be treated like an adult, but it's sort of pointless when the people you ask to treat you like an adult act like 4 year olds! sheesh.

this is my way to live

What about yours?

*sigh* Damnit, I slept too much today. I have to do the Pardoner's Tale ironic foreshadowing essay, but I have to be at school at 7:30 tomorrow (as opposed to 9:30, when 1st period starts) because of the Choir Clinic. *whines* Not fair! I just hope this expert woman or whatnot puts people like Brenda in her place. -.- *sigh*

What else is there? Been watching Full Metal Panic- gawd, it is one of the best series EVER! But my media players are acting up so much lately, they always skip and go slowly! I've tried DiVX, Windows Media, RealPlayer, Winamp... *sigh* Now what? DiVX is still the best, but towards the end of episodes, it freezes up like it's going to hibernate, and everything goes slowly-- the audio skips, and the video is frozen. -.- Gah. When I have a free couple of hours, I'll copy all 24 episodes to my hard drive. It's not like I don't have the GB for it... ;-O~~

Speaking of FMP, I've got a great idea for a steamy fanfic! Takes place after episode 24... or 26, whichever's the end of the series. ^^; But I love the whole action/romance parallel going on-- Kaname and Sousuke are so perfect for each other! And I'm sorry, I just DO NOT like Tessa. *shudder* How do shrimps like her get the rank of Captain in secret organizations like Mithril? BLAAAH. She's a Whispered, that's why! >_<

OKAY! Now onto the fun stuff:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
For MONDAY, APRIL 14th:

I'm having a get-together at the Chevy's near the Metreon-- a birthday dinner, if you will. I can't pay for anyone, but any and all who can come and want to celebrate my birthday with me on my actual birthday are welcome to come! The plan is to have dinner around 6 or 7, and then see a movie at the Metreon. If anyone has any comments, suggestions for movies, questions, or RSVPs, do reply/comment/email me! I really want to do something cool for my birthday ON my birthday, even if it's just dinner. ^^

FOR SATURDAY, APRIL 19th:

My friend Eva and I have been scheming this up for a while now-- we want to have a bonfire and a BBQ at the beach! It's been a while since we had a bonfire, and since both our birthdays are in the same timeframe, we decided to kill two birds with one stone and have a blast! It's a Saturday (so college students should be off, highschoolers in the SFUSD should be on Spring Break, etc. etc.) and from late afternoon to early Sunday morning, so we hope everyone can come!

Here's how it works-- those that we invite specifically (face to face) or that are reading this (friends of mine) can come to my house early and meet up-- we'll go grab the BBQ and the necessary food (there's a lot-- hot dogs, ham/cheeseburgers, s'mores, k'bobs...) and go to the beach. There's regulations as to where we can have the bonfire (only on the beach past entrance 24 at Sloat, down to entrance 27) and such, so if you want to meet us AT the beach or (if you're a saint) get food to bring (since Eva and I would be spending our own money to pay for the food) then you know where to look for us. I'll have my cell on of course, so you can always call. Just be sure to let me know if you're coming, so I can save a dinner of your choice. People who can't bring food, bring stuff you want to burn! (Paper and wood stuff, that is!) The Park and Rec is getting picky about what people burn, so driftwood isn't an option anymore. Paper is the best thing we've got, and I know I have a lot of old tests I'd love to turn to ash! If you feel the same, bring a bag of stuff and use it to kindle the bonfire! ^_^ There'll be more details as we get closer, but consider this my Official Online Invite. If you don't read this, I'll probably tell you all about it in person. So please keep those dates free, this is your advanced notice!

Whoo! Okay, in case you were mean or impatient or whatnot and didn't want to read the above, it's all the juicy details on my upcoming birthday parties, including the join bonfire/BBQ with Eva. So read if you want to come. ^^

I've got my doctor's appointment tomorrow (I was amazed I made it so fast! Stupid Kaiser redirects so many times though... I talked to about 4 people!) at 3pm, which means I need to get out of 6th early. I don't have anything to do at lunch (though staying in the journalism room now doesn't sound so nice) or afterschool, except maybe stop by the college center to get the summer CCSF application. Mom's starting to nag me about that again... *sigh* I need serious help with all this. It's confusing, disheartening, and upsetting... all my other senior friends are going to these great schools, and I'm just... blah, stick in the mud. ;_; Anywho, Dr. Stafford's supposed to check out my back and my skin and all; ever since I practiced for the swim test, my bones just haven't been the same... but I've been ranting about that for a while, so you know what I mean. I hope this will result in some sort of excuse note for the swim test, because the prospect of excercising or stretching (hell, even DDR!) sounds painful. Doing Para Para at Vince's Mom's b'day hurt!

I was working on my journaling article (I'll have to put up "every heart" soon so you can see some of my articles) and went back to this place called diarist.net. They have an organization of millions of weblogs, diaries, and journals, and they even give awards! It's really fun too... I was checking out some of the ones at diaryland.com, and I was half-tempted to sign up. But I've already been at FreeOpenDiary, my own website, and now here at LiveJournal. -.- There's always advantages that one has over the others, but I don't want to switch again, there's too much work involved. If I want, I can always put my old FOD/Blue Reflections entries here, and just backdate them. Or something. The diaries at diaryland are very slick looking! There's one that has a twinkie on it... ^_^ So what is the real shelf life of one of those things, anyway? Does anyone wanna make a time capsule with me and find out 10 years from now? *g*

Okay, I have lots of email and such to catch up on... and I think I want to make a better version of RiTA the RTA girl before I upload her to my site as artwork I've done. Much to do... dishes... GAUGH. I want to watch more FMP.
