I found this nifty generator blog that linked to all these generators (which, if you know me at all, you know that I HEART HEART HEART)... one of them was this corporate memo gibberish generator, and it worked perfect for WDKY18, that one stubborn scene I wrote about to playthedamncard and betasquad. So problem 99.9% solved. rhapsody_dragon is looking over the almost-final version of the chapter... so hopefully it'll be out tomorrow-ish. :) As I told atlantian_magic, WDKY19 signals the start of the 2nd half of WDKY, and it's going to be a doozy. Plot references, new characters, angst, wangst, romance, and even more people wailing at me and zOMGing, left and right. I look forward to it.

WDKY18 status: only 2 more scenes left! Okay, it's only one off of the 3 scenes that were holding me back before, but these are short:
(1) Kaiba is in a good mood, and decides to do some restructuring of Kaiba Corporation's subsidiaries...
(2) When Kaiba finally goes back to school, he and Téa are greeted with an unexpected (and unwelcome on Téa's part) surprise!

I finally finished moving all the furniture in my room today (with Scott's help), so now I'm in the Pink Room, formerly Sally's room. The Constitution Room (aka the Boat Room, and formerly My Room) now has one of Sally's old beds in it, and I'll move the other (in the Yellow Room, aka Joyce's Room) either later tonight or tomorrow. I need:
* a surge protector for my various electronics (clock, lava lamp, stereo)
* a jewelry box that can sort all my necklaces and crap, so they stop getting tangled up (Target?)
* a desk chair, because the one I have is a wooden piece of crap with a piece of crap cushion
* an endtable, because I can't use my bookcase for everything, or it'll become a mess

Any suggestions for Where to Shop?

Went to IKEA and got some random stuff, like a pillow, some hangers, a new poster with a frame, and other such silliness. Didn't go to Virgin for the leather CD binder I need though... >_> Order it online, maybe?

Anyway, Scott was a bit... irritating today. Not good company, as a friend or as a guy I'd wanna flirt/mess-around with. He finally found a place after 2 months of searching (when he should have been searching longer, as he was never meant to stay here at Baba and Grandpa's for as long as he did, rent-free) and it's a nice place... I don't get why he's stressing so much over moving what little he has.

Okay, I can understand being a bit stressed about having so much work that you don't have time to do your laundry or take a shower. He wore the same thing today as he wore yesterday. But it's not like I noticed his stank, and if he was tired, he was certainly under no obligation to come as early as he did (10:20am). He could have easily called me and said "Hey, I wanna sleep in and I bet you do too, so how about we meet later?" But then he wouldn't do that, because he thinks sensibly, and he wants to avoid traffic and big crowds.

Lately, I'm surprised at how much he really complains. And while I appreciate his help and his suggestions for things, I don't want him to dictate how my room is going to look. Yes, I want posters other than anime on the wall, yes I would like some plants, but geez, let me decorate my own room! (and the other rooms, too!) I also appreciate all he does for me, taking me places and all... and occasionally he's grateful to me for what I do for him. But sometimes he doesn't seem very thankful, and I'm tempted to tell him I don't need to go to the lengths I do for him, but I do because I care, and because I notice how busy and stressed he seems to be. I don't do it for any reward other than a simple "thank you." Is even THAT asking for too much?

I don't really understand our current relationship, and I'm always afraid that I've said or done the wrong thing, but I HATE being the one to always have to make the first move one way or the other, and apologize or explain myself. I've done it enough already, even if our relationship HAS changed. I got such a massive headache today --not from Scott or anything, more like from the heat and my lack of food-- and Scott being annoying just didn't help.

After we dropped off my purchases of IKEA at the house, we went to go get some food, but even though Scott owes me dinner (a meal) and a drink, he just insisted he was so rushed he couldn't stick around for much more than to-go food and moving my furniture. I didn't understand why he seemed so eager to get away, especially when he easily could have done his laundry and showered at the house with no charge or worries, and he could return home clean and with one more thing done. Feh, men have their "ways" I guess.
