The Almost-Definitive List of All Yu-Gi-Oh Songs

For my reference and yours, a definitive list of all the Yu-Gi-Oh songs (minus those instrumentals and English dub tracks)... that is, the ones with lyrics (or the ones that HAVE lyrics, but also have an instrumental/karaoke version).


Here's how this will work. First I'll list what series it's from: the original by Toei (they also did the first Yu-Gi-Oh movie), the second one, known as Duel Monsters, GX, or the Yu-Gi-Oh movie: Pyramid of Light (Americans know it as "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie"). Then I'll list the OP (opening) or ED (closing/ending song), and what number it is (first, second, etc.) The artist/band name will be in parentheses, followed by the song title itself. This should help you locate the song if you don't already have it.

Well...I can tell you that you missed all the songs with lyrics from the YGO Music to Duel By album.
This includes "Time 2 Duel", "I'm Back", "Your Move", "Duel Madness", "No Matter What", "Ahead of the Game", "We'll Be There", and the song I've been repeating on my computer endlessly "Face Up, Face Down". One's just the theme, and the others are instrumentals.
^^ Just cuz I dun wanna see those songs left out.

I actually have all the Music to Duel By songs, but since they're not specifically from a soundtrack, I wasn't sure whether to put them. Plus there's a bunch of songs that ARE from the series that never made it to CD, so what about those? (I hope they release another soundtrack up to the Orichalchos saga... I loved some of the BGM!)

I'll revise the entry with the MtDB music, then.

Those are not real songs to the anime. They're just from the American version and not part of the official Yugioh soundtracks.

Never thought I would have a reason to comment on a Yu-Gi-Oh entry... But I gotta say that both 'Kawaita Sakebi' and 'Kodokuna Traveler' are awesome songs; the latter is one of my favorite Field of View singles.... I knew 'Kawaita Sakebi' was the OP theme for the show, but I had no idea the other was related at all... huh.

I was just as surprised as you to see your username tacked onto a reply to this entry! Anyhow, it seems as though they wanted to make good use of all the songs the two bands doing the OP and the ED made during the first series... that is, they made a short movie and used their OTHER singles (Kodokuna Traveler being Field of View's 2nd single for that time) as the OP and ED of the movie. ^_^v
