What did you learn in College Geography, exactly? I can tell you that in Northern California, especially in San Francisco, there's a reason why they call it Fog City. It sits right on the coast and barely goes inland at all; it's rarely hot in San Francisco unless it's absolutely BLAZING in the east bay. It's very cold almost year round, but sometimes it's just plain overcast-- the weather is very strange there.
In Southern California, we have some nice breezes every now and then, but for the most part, it lives up to its reputation of "sunny California" with palm trees and all. However, this past winter we had an annual 30" or more of rain-- a record since the 1880s. Storms in summer!? Pshaw.
I do have 3 Amazon Archers in that deck though-- did they not show up? But they are Monster cards, not Traps. Are you thinking of something else? Also, I read about Triangle Ecstasy Spark, but I don't have it-- nor do I have Amazoness Tiger. So short of buying packs again, it's unlikely I'll spend the money-- after all, I don't duel enough to make such a purchase worth it.
I didn't include the God Cards for the same reason the UE/K site didn't include them; they're not duel-worthy. I do know that Ra came with the Dawn of Destiny Game and Slifer came with the Yu-Gi-Oh Movie animangas-- Obelisk will be coming with upcoming subscriptions of Shonen Jump, for a limited time.
