Things That Bug Me

(1) People who walk up to you on your way to class/home and start yabbering about their religious book/pamphlet/gospels/testimony and ask if you've heard of it/want it/believe it and even when you say no, walk by without saying ANYTHING, or are polite and say you're not interested, they continue to pester you, even if you're quite obviously sick/in a hurry/terrified. One of these days, I'm going to snap at these people and say I don't like you, I don't like your religion, and you're being a public nuisance, so GET LOST!

(2) Plot holes bigger than swiss cheese (also known as: canon that leaves me asking more questions than I had before I saw/read it). See Also: Star Wars.

(3) Fanfiction that disappoints, and tempts me to leave the fandom before I'm in it. (See: Star Wars, almost any anime fandom nowadays, etc.)

(4) A dumb sore throat caused by an asthma inhaler that won't go away, and solutions involving nasty-tasting substances that are none-too-pleasing.

(5) Visa's stupid guarantee to withdraw money from your account even when you're overdrawn, JUST so you can get slammed with a second overdraft charge, which you really don't need since you haven't gotten PAID yet...

(6) Purple prose, flowery language, and other useless combinations of the English language, especially in such constructs as the "disclaimer."

Things That Don't Bug Me, and Are in Fact, Quite Nice

(1) Friendly people online willing to join communities, give concrit, spread the word about something, give advice, share fanart and fanfics, and all around be nice and helpful. (As dorky as this may sound, I really have more friends online than I do IRL. I haven't really made any friends at CSUN. Classmates, yes, but no "friends." Blame it on the fact that it's a commuter school or that I'm a geek, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. ^_^)

(2) Fanfics that actually SUCCEED in filling the plotholes, sounding realistic, and being the "just right" boost of emotion (be it angst or fluffy romance) that I'm looking for at a given time. (See: The Proposal - Star Wars, Episode II)

(3) Delightfully good ideas that come to me on my way home, inspiring me for fics that aren't going to see the "light of the 'Net" until 2007.

(4) Programs that make downloading Torrents MUUUUUCH MUUUUUCH easier ^_^v (might not be faster, but easier does count. So what if I have extra copies of 20 acts of PGSM?)

(5) Raisin-bread.

(6) Naps.

Oh, I know! and going to school is sometimes horrible, the minute I'm off the campus, it's like those religious (sometimes crazy) people are everywhere.

and oh, one more thing to put on the bug list: people that keep bugging you when they should have gotten the hint long ago!

But naps are priceless...and I love them.
