Rin RavenIce -- I feel bad for not reviewing after each chapter but at first I wasn't too sure on this story. I haven't read any Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfics up until recently and I must say that your writing is amazing. I love how you delve into the depths of their minds, keeping them all in character perfectly. This is a wonderful story! I admit, I wasn't too sure about it to begin with...but it didn't take much to convince me otherwise to stick with this. I love the pairing. Seto and Tea are good together. Poor Yugi though. I'm sure he'll be fine. I'll give him a big hug and everything will be okay!
The chapters are endlessly long but I found it hard to pull away at times. I just had to find out if they got together!
This story made me laugh out loud sometimes, and even shed a few tears as I felt Tea's pain and sorrow.
Gods, I wanted to smack Seto sometimes! He can be a jerk, can't he? I always knew he had a soft side though. Underneath it all, he's nothing but a cute little kitten!
*grin* Kitten, hmm? *points in direction of "TLC" another S/A fic with a REAL kitten...* Anyway, I do believe that "people are capable of change." That's really what the whole story is about. The title in its full length is "What doesn't kill you makes you strong eventually." So if you survive all sorts of challenges and hardships, you grow and change and become stronger as a result of not giving up. ^_^v Motivational fanficcer I am.
I love the Yuna cosplay thing. That was cool.
Joey and Mai are cute together! Is it just me or has Mai's voice actor changed for this new season of Yu-Gi-Oh!: Waking the Dragons? I liked her old voice better. This new one sounds really weird.
Yes, they did change Mai's VA. ;_; I liked the old one much better too, but alas! She is merely to be archived with the rest of the dub DVDs. The new Mai VA even did the dubbing for the unedited DVDs, so no more "kewl" Mai... *sigh*
Poor wittle Mokuba! I'll give him a hug too! Please let him get home safe! He's too sweet to get rid of.
Okay, The point of this review is to show my love of this story! I can't get enough of this. I am hopelessly adicted to it. You have a way with words that surpasses my own. You are amazing. Never stop writing!
Do you have any art for this story by chance? I'm an artist myself and I think this story deserves a few pics to go with it. Specially one of Tea and Seto kissing. That would be so cute!

I don't think I reviwed last chapter (sorry!), so I'll just state that I was really quite surprised at how Tea was acting. It was so not like her, BUT that is what makes you one of the best writers on fanfiction. You've taken her out of her comfort zone repeatedly and portrayed her reactions to those situations almost exactly. I applaud you for doing that so well! I wish I was half-way as good as you are.
My eyes often hurt after I write these things, too... -_-; In any case, thanks for sticking with WDKY up to this point! I'm also glad you didn't bash me (as you well had the opportunity to) for taking Téa "out of her comfort zone." That's a much better way of phrasing it than "making her a drunk Mary Sue," which some people seemed to think I did...
It's not about being in-character as per the show's standards, 100% of the time; it's about growing and changing, but recognizing the characters despite the situations and circumstances that have changed. I try to hold true to that.
And everyone has to start somewhere! I'm currently editing a great deal of my older fics from other fandoms, and I'm ashamed that they're still up on my account! Eek... So keep writing, keep reading... it's the best way to improve! There is no "perfect" writer.
I also don't know where you get the time do write all of this. I spend ages on my stories and get next-to-nothing done. I'm really shameful!

Anyways, I was searching for some good fanfics and found you and your large collection and I must say, I am impressed. Anyways, it's taken me almost 2 days to read your fanfic (in between school, concerts, projects, and the like) and even though I kinda skipped through the police part where Seto got arrested, I still like it very much! Anyways, I just want you to know that you've got a large amount of talent and I applaud you! Oh... and please update soon. Solar Kitty -- Wow, yet another excellent chapter! However, there was one thing that confused me. Why was Tea getting nineteen birthday pinches? I thought she was turning eighteen? I am so happy that Tea and Seto finally got together! But not so happy that Mokuba's disappeared because of it... the poor kid, he's always having things like this happen to him! ANd I really hope that Mai and Joey cna work things out! I was on the verge of tears reading it. They're my absolute favourite Yu-Gi-Oh! couple! I can't wait for the next update! The idea behind 19 birthday pinches is "one for good luck" along with the 18 she got for each year of her life thus far. I've done extensive calculating and dating on everything besides, so I hope the timing for everyone's birthdays won't continue to be "off."

...Eeeh, I'll get around to Mai and Joey-- they are the secondary couple of the fic, with a few other minor couples tossed in. I'm not one of those types who likes to have an "Everyone Orgy!" where everyone's got to be paired for the sake of being paired. But the Dog (*wink*) will have his day, rest assured.
As for the sex thing, I'm NOT writing a lemon (don't have the guts) and I'm NOT planning on having Seto and Téa go at it any time soon. What sexual innuendo or "practices" I might have in the fic will abide by the R/M+ rating, which means 17+ and up only, so if you click, that means you can handle it. On top of that, I'll justify everything-- there will be no "porn without plot" or similar devices.

Starian Princess -- Please continue! Finally, I got to reading this whole fanfic... I started reading like two days ago and because of school and everything I wasn't able to finish until today. You're a magnificent author and everything's just so perfect. I loved the whole plot, the pairing and the twists! I really love Tea's character and well this fic just proves how great a person she is. I mean, Yugi, Joey, Seto, Mokuba, and even Ryou and Bakura like her! Thinking of that makes this fic even more perfect than it already is. From the moment I started reading and I had to stop I right away placed this under my favorite stories just so I could come back anytime. Everything, from the beginning until now has just got me so entranced and I can't help but want to read more and more. And finally, now I've gotten to the most recent chapter and I'm still on the edge of my seat. Again, please continue soon! This fanfic's made my week or it will anyways... I'm glad you're a faithful reader-- I do need more of those. I'm trying to stick with the pairing and a wide variety of subplots-- the main plot being Seto and Téa's tumultuous relationship, and where it will lead.
As for the liking, I've explained it before to many readers--
Joey liked Téa superficially, in the past. As of now, she's only his good friend, but he cares for her very deeply, and would be the first to act if he
thought Kaiba was hurting her.
Yugi has liked Téa for some time and continues to, even though his love is unrequited. Obviously sharing a body with a mysterious Pharaoh doesn't help matters, and we still don't know how Yami feels about Téa.
At this point, Kaiba does indeed care for Téa, but he doesn't know in what capacity. He doesn't know what romantic "love" is. He represents the future, the possibility, the unknown.
Ryou cares for Téa, but in truth, he knows so little about her (given the fact that he's usually getting taken over by the Spirit of the Millennium Ring) that all he wants is to spend more time with her and discover the truth.
Bakura (the Spirit of the Ring) feels a strange connection with Téa that he can't be explained. Like Seto, he has no definition of what romantic love is supposed to be like-- so he acts on a whim. He knows what will anger Seto and Yugi, so he'll exploit that to the best of his ability, even if it means faking people out...
I do hope the fic keeps you entranced and on the edge of your seat! Thanks so much for the review!

*grin* It would have been fun to have Téa and Seto hunt down all the circuses to try and find Mokuba... but alas, that's not the case here. What can I say. Another beautiful chapter. Mokuba's getting a little irrating, what with this stupid jealousy thing he's got going on. I am really glad both Seto and Tea *finally* started really talking to each; letting the other know how they feel. I was a little let down by having to wait for Joey's and Mai's resolution but I can wait...but not that long. Second to Tea and Seto, Joey and Mai couplings are my favorite. I think that's all i have to say for now except, great job. I love the length you make these chapters, really satisfying. Update again as soon as you can as I'll be looking of it.
P.s- Just kill Mokuba and have that problem out of the way *receives glares* just kidding, just kidding!
I have that evil timing thing going on, don't I? Hee hee. People seem to be split on Mokuba here, but I must admit you're the first to be so open with irritation toward Mokuba. Most people seem to be pitying him... ^^;
As for resolution with Mai and Joey... well, I don't like going too much into them since they're not the "main" coupling. But I will bounce back and forth, and you'll see resolutions, culminations, and break-ups-- that applies to everyone, not just J/M. *grin*

I'm having a love/hate relationship with this chapter (I'm sure you know why *pointed glare*)
Things I loved: The male bonding ;-; I LOVED THAT! My entire body broke out into shivers everytime Seto was talking - CIVILLY - to the rest of the bo-er men, especially Joey just cuz I'm not only a romance junky. I love to see all types of relationships portrayed. It was especially touching when Joey and Kaiba FINALLY called a truce! That was fantastic! Especially since their banter didn't suffer for it!
I'm so glad I pulled that off successfully. Joey's Brooklyn vibe I can manage (sometimes the dubbers are a godsend), but Seto's caustic attitude scares me sometimes, so I always need help getting it right. Thank god for betas to help me out!
I also ate up all the emotional volleying - the "I feel for her/him but she/he just can't feel for me so I'll just suck it up" mentality of both Seto and Tea and even Mai! And when Tea finally decided she was gonna take the chance and tell him she loved him XD I literally jumped out of my chair and did the Arsenio whoop!
Volleying! That's a good one-- a great analogy that I can remind people of when they start to whine about me dangling tidbits in front of them and then snatching them away. It's supposed to be a realistic mentality, as you've pointed out, and I hope I'm doing it justice and not "soap opera-fying" it too much.
Oh, and I would pay to have seen you doing what whoop. *big huge grins* I hope I didn't completely disappoint...
God, and the video -- you are not satisfied until you have at least ONE scene to make your readers cry are you?

Things I hate - one thing really and I bet you know exactly what it is. YOU EEVEEL WOMAN! How can you LIVE with yourself? WHERE IS MOKUBA!? I want him back! I want him back now! I was surprised (and happy) to see Seto and Tea get together this chapter! Whee! Those poor, angsting, hormonal teenagers. Now they just have to deal with 25 (?!?) more chapters of whatever twisted cruelty or lovely good fortune you throw their way. Starting, of course, with Mokuba's disappearance (oh, man...) and Mai and Joey's little spat. I feel bad. Those two have gone through just about as much as Seto and Tea, although maybe on a different level.
This is a wonderful story-- if that even needed saying. Thank you for posting this chapter and adding that little special something to my weekend!! (Sappy...)

Solar Kitty -- Wow, yet another excellent chapter! However, there was one thing that confused me. Why was Tea getting nineteen birthday pinches? I thought she was turning eighteen? I am so happy that Tea and Seto finally got together! But not so happy that Mokuba's disappeared because of it... the poor kid, he's always having things like this happen to him! ANd I really hope that Mai and Joey cna work things out! I was on the verge of tears reading it. They're my absolute favourite Yu-Gi-Oh! couple! I can't wait for the next update! I love this fic and it's excellently written too!
The idea behind 19 birthday pinches is "one for good luck" along with the 18 she got for each year of her life thus far. I've done extensive calculating and dating on everything besides, so I hope the timing for everyone's birthdays won't continue to be "off."

It's really great that you got them together without them having sex. That really would have thrown the story, at least for me.

...Eeeh, I'll get around to Mai and Joey-- they are the secondary couple of the fic, with a few other minor couples tossed in. I'm not one of those types who likes to have an "Everyone Orgy!" where everyone's got to be paired for the sake of being paired. But the Dog (*wink*) will have his day, rest assured.
As for the sex thing, I'm NOT writing a lemon (don't have the guts) and I'm NOT planning on having Seto and Téa go at it any time soon. What sexual innuendo or "practices" I might have in the fic will abide by the R/M+ rating, which means 17+ and up only, so if you click, that means you can handle it. On top of that, I'll justify everything-- there will be no "porn without plot" or similar devices.

Starian Princess -- Please continue! Finally, I got to reading this whole fanfic... I started reading like two days ago and because of school and everything I wasn't able to finish until today. You're a magnificent author and everything's just so perfect. I loved the whole plot, the pairing and the twists! I really love Tea's character and well this fic just proves how great a person she is. I mean, Yugi, Joey, Seto, Mokuba, and even Ryou and Bakura like her! Thinking of that makes this fic even more perfect than it already is. From the moment I started reading and I had to stop I right away placed this under my favorite stories just so I could come back anytime. Everything, from the beginning until now has just got me so entranced and I can't help but want to read more and more. And finally, now I've gotten to the most recent chapter and I'm still on the edge of my seat. Again, please continue soon! This fanfic's made my week or it will anyways... I'm glad you're a faithful reader-- I do need more of those. I'm trying to stick with the pairing and a wide variety of subplots-- the main plot being Seto and Téa's tumultuous relationship, and where it will lead.
As for the liking, I've explained it before to many readers--
Joey liked Téa superficially, in the past. As of now, she's only his good friend, but he cares for her very deeply, and would be the first to act if he
thought Kaiba was hurting her.
Yugi has liked Téa for some time and continues to, even though his love is unrequited. Obviously sharing a body with a mysterious Pharaoh doesn't help matters, and we still don't know how Yami feels about Téa.
At this point, Kaiba does indeed care for Téa, but he doesn't know in what capacity. He doesn't know what romantic "love" is. He represents the future, the possibility, the unknown.
Ryou cares for Téa, but in truth, he knows so little about her (given the fact that he's usually getting taken over by the Spirit of the Millennium Ring) that all he wants is to spend more time with her and discover the truth.
Bakura (the Spirit of the Ring) feels a strange connection with Téa that he can't be explained. Like Seto, he has no definition of what romantic love is supposed to be like-- so he acts on a whim. He knows what will anger Seto and Yugi, so he'll exploit that to the best of his ability, even if it means faking people out...
I do hope the fic keeps you entranced and on the edge of your seat! Thanks so much for the review!

*grin* It would have been fun to have Téa and Seto hunt down all the circuses to try and find Mokuba... but alas, that's not the case here. Still, it'd be funny to see Mokuba all done up like a clown or jester. But I assure you-- he's a Kaiba, and he can get into plenty trouble, now and in future chapters.

What can I say. Another beautiful chapter. Mokuba's getting a little irrating, what with this stupid jealousy thing he's got going on. I am really glad both Seto and Tea *finally* started really talking to each; letting the other know how they feel. I was a little let down by having to wait for Joey's and Mai's resolution but I can wait...but not that long. Second to Tea and Seto, Joey and Mai couplings are my favorite. I think that's all i have to say for now except, great job. I love the length you make these chapters, really satisfying. Update again as soon as you can as I'll be looking of it.
P.s- Just kill Mokuba and have that problem out of the way *receives glares* just kidding, just kidding!
I have that evil timing thing going on, don't I? Hee hee. People seem to be split on Mokuba here, but I must admit you're the first to be so open with irritation toward Mokuba. Most people seem to be pitying him... ^^;
As for resolution with Mai and Joey... well, I don't like going too much into them since they're not the "main" coupling. But I will bounce back and forth, and you'll see resolutions, culminations, and break-ups-- that applies to everyone, not just J/M. *grin*

I'm having a love/hate relationship with this chapter (I'm sure you know why *pointed glare*)
Things I loved: The male bonding ;-; I LOVED THAT! My entire body broke out into shivers everytime Seto was talking - CIVILLY - to the rest of the bo-er men, especially Joey just cuz I'm not only a romance junky. I love to see all types of relationships portrayed. It was especially touching when Joey and Kaiba FINALLY called a truce! That was fantastic! Especially since their banter didn't suffer for it!
I'm so glad I pulled that off successfully. Joey's Brooklyn vibe I can manage (sometimes the dubbers are a godsend), but Seto's caustic attitude scares me sometimes, so I always need help getting it right. Thank god for betas to help me out!
I also ate up all the emotional volleying - the "I feel for her/him but she/he just can't feel for me so I'll just suck it up" mentality of both Seto and Tea and even Mai! And when Tea finally decided she was gonna take the chance and tell him she loved him XD I literally jumped out of my chair and did the Arsenio whoop!
Volleying! That's a good one-- a great analogy that I can remind people of when they start to whine about me dangling tidbits in front of them and then snatching them away. It's supposed to be a realistic mentality, as you've pointed out, and I hope I'm doing it justice and not "soap opera-fying" it too much.
Oh, and I would pay to have seen you doing what whoop. *big huge grins* I hope I didn't completely disappoint...
God, and the video -- you are not satisfied until you have at least ONE scene to make your readers cry are you?

You're probably one of the few people who actually has the proof that you're supposed to be reading rated R fics... ^^;; Sometimes I feel like I have so few over 17 readers...
Things I hate - one thing really and I bet you know exactly what it is. YOU EEVEEL WOMAN! How can you LIVE with yourself? WHERE IS MOKUBA!? I want him back! I want him back now! And by God, Seto and I will hunt you down. Tea will back us up - she'll be the one holding the feathers cuz tickle torture is not beneath us!

I was surprised (and happy) to see Seto and Tea get together this chapter! Whee! Those poor, angsting, hormonal teenagers. Now they just have to deal with 25 (?!?) more chapters of whatever twisted cruelty or lovely good fortune you throw their way. Starting, of course, with Mokuba's disappearance (oh, man...) and Mai and Joey's little spat. I feel bad. Those two have gone through just about as much as Seto and Tea, although maybe on a different level.
This is a wonderful story-- if that even needed saying. Thank you for posting this chapter and adding that little special something to my weekend!! (Sappy...)
