Today is not my day

Okay, so I had a decent Thanksgiving, despite it being in Fresno. And I ended up not staying in a hotel or inn for the one night I was there, but at Shaina/Brooke's mom's house, Becky. I used to like Becky. Last time I saw her was at Brooke's wedding, and before that, her graduation. We don't talk much. I liked her because she did my hair. But she wasn't home that night, I never saw her, and consequently, I had this tiff with Shaina (over weed. The thing is, I used to think so highly of my cousins, and finding out they like to sneak over and get trashed... well, my opinion can't plummet too much more below the sea level, can it? Oh wait... yes it can.)

Skipping all the melodrama, I did get to finally go on Dan's boat on Van Ness Lake (the houses in that community are all gated, and most have a boat with which to access the private lake there). It was freezing out, but a nice night. The aerator bubbles freaked me out though. It's a catch and release lake, so they have to keep the fishies happy...

Anywho, I'm back home... alone. Scott's working on some 12-page paper for Art History (or he was several hours ago, and he hasn't called or TMd me since. Gee, thanks Scott!) I'm pretty bored and upset. Upset due to the number of negative reviews I've gotten for WDKY12. Geesh, it's like "Make your chapters shorter!" and then when I come out with a short chapter, people are like "It's too short, what's wrong with you?" (Actually, I got loads of sarcasm: "Can your next chapter be longer than 10 words?" Hey brainiac: it was over 3,000! Usually, I write 70,000 -avg- but SO WHAT!?) People were disappointed (Shadowed Mediocrity) or bored (huda), and now I'm just plain miserable. I'm not a quitter, but... geez, this chapter has me disenheartened. I can't lengthen it by much, but the characterization needs work. *sigh* I guess I'll revise it... somehow.

Help?

Double that request, please. I finally got around to beating Yunalesca and getting the Sun Crest; I wandered around Spira via Airship, unlocked all the secret locations, and picked up loads more fiends for the Monster Arena. I powered up Kimhari's Spirit Lance, Yuna's Nirvana, Tidus's Cadalbolg, and Auron's Masamune; I still have to get Lulu's Onion Knight, Rikku's Godhand, and Wakka's World Champion, though I already have the Venus Crest for Lulu and the Jupiter Crest for Wakka. Pain in the ass #1: All of the Sigils will be next to impossible to get, except maybe Auron's, since that only involves capturing bucketloads of fiends.

Anyway, so I'm trying to get Anima right now, but the temple at Baaj NOW tells me I need 6 magic items. Judging by the fact that only four of the statues lit up, that means I need 2 more-- one's the Magistral Rod at Zanarkand, but what are the others? I don't remember... Can anyone help me out? Apparently if I didn't get it, I'm screwed without the items until I'm INSIDE SIN! WTF!?!?? None of the guides I can find say a peep about WHAT the 6 items are. 'Cause you know, that would help.

*sigh* What else? Well, I'm tired, lonely, and so bored I'm playing FFX for hours at a time. -_- Teh JOY.

Ok, so - i dont really know WDKY. But the thing is, its your story. Not the readers. And while yes, you write for their enjoyment - you also write for you. You write what you can and to the best ability and no one has ANY right to say things like 'its too short' or anything like that. Constructive criticism yes, but petty 'it wasnt long enough for me blah' is just dumb and they need to get a life. You're not a machine. Like you have said, this is YOUR baby not theirs.
But like i said, i dont know all the history behind WDKY and i hope what ive said hasnt offended you or anything >.< My main point is to not let the reviews upset you. A lot of people (like me) know you're a great writer! They should write things to help you improve (constructively of course) you're writing, not tell you WHAT to write. But yeh - Happy Belated Turkey day (even though we dont do the tradition here downunder...lol) Hope you feel better!! (and again, sorry if this offended you or anything...>.<)

Az, I thought WDKY12 was perfect in length. If you went any farther, it would have dectracted from the nice warm fuzzy feeling it gave you.

Also, with the airship, there should be away to enter names instead of coordinates? If you want Rikku's weapon just type in GODHAND and it'll take you to where it is. XD; And then you can go dodge lightning for Lulu's and be Blitzball Champ for Wakka's... Actually, I believe you can go to the Luca Bar/Pub and talk to someone who'll give it to you, but I'm not sure when... :/

don't change it unless you want. I have the Mokuba/Anzu swing sceen in my mind and I wish I could draw it..it was perfect the way it was. I rarely get such a clear picture.
