azuriteSometimes, I can't believe myself. Honestly.
1) I'm wasteful. Even with things I like. I could make up some lame excuse like "I can't help it," but that's stupid. I hate myself for being so wasteful. Wastefulness comes from being nitpicky and rushed and psychologically BENT! I hate it. I'm going to stop being wasteful, and drink ALL my juice.
2) I'm forgetful. No, seriously. I know there's a difference between literally forgetting and "oops! procrastinating-forgetfulness," but this is a case of the former. I forgot about the Matathon meeting yesterday and the poster designing session! I spent 3 hours in the collabatory pretty much spacing out (well, I did get part of my media notebook done) and doing nothing! STUPID!
3) I procrastinate. This is halfway part of the last one. Even though 90% of the time, I have Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to work on math homework assigned on Thursday of the previous week, I never actually DO it until the day it's due. Today, that was a bad thing, as I left several problems from my Chapter 5 review undone, and that might have been the refresher I needed for the exam today.
All the same, Scantron is a magic word with me-- multiple choice means I can always guess and check, and plug in answers to verify different formulas. I did that with a few problems on the 25 question exam today, and I actually think I did well, even if I left 5 questions blank by the end of the period. I might just do better on my exam than on my chapter work! O_O
Well, today is eh-worthy thus far. For starters, Scott couldn't actually come into the house-- he gave me a ride since Grandpa's got to get his head looked at again. *worry* Something about cancers in his head? I'm rather concerned, but they aren't. Am I being overly paranoid? We rushed, but then, I got to class on-time, so I guess I can be grateful for that. Downside? It doesn't like I'll be able to get a ride with ANYONE home today (Baba might not go swimming, and Scott's got classes until late). That means if it rains, I'm stuck in my cool, albeit painful TH boots *walking* all the way home. NOT FUN. Plus I hate that stupid dog...! (literally, a dog.)
I've got to mess around in the collabatory today anyway-- since my home comp. is being a bitch and unwilling to convert Microsoft Word to WordPerfect format, I'm stuck with spending money and printing out my Media Notebook (which I have to finish between now and Thursday afternoon) and my 6 Week Investment report. That and my essay for my visual aid... which I need to go to the copy store and make into a transparency, *AND* go to the bookstore and get a report holder. All my money is fast disappearing...
On the bright side, I'm truly done with exams. I have projects to finish, yes:
* Informative speech with research, visual aid, etc.
* Labs in regards to the above speech
* Media Notebook 2-1 and subsequently, 2-2 (which will either be on muckraking or TV)
* AutoCAD drawings-- Chapter 10-1, and 13-1. By Nov. 2, I have to have 14-10 and 14-17 done as well. ;_; Daaaaaaaaaad!
* Math Stock project -- I won't actually be getting the new data until November 20th, so I guess I can hold off on this. All I'll need to do is go back to the Collabatory, copy from the old format, redo the graphs, and that's it. ^^;
* Math Mortgage project... which I haven't started yet, and is due Nov. 2. ;_; AAAAAAAUGH! Where do I begin!?
And on less-school related notes:
* websites, including getting as much of AMC up as possible, the new Hot Gimmick archive, new skins for Dragonfayth, and add'l features for BEA. New layout for Darkness Rising, too.
* Fanfiction, including the SMRFF ficathon, challenges (lately, from Kysra, evil girl that she is), Death and Absolution, and TRC/TLC.
* Fiction-fiction, for Nanowrimo. I'm determined!
* Costume... must get done. This means finishing putting it together by Thursday, and also getting my hair done either tonight or tomorrow. I should also go to the mall and get gold pins, a manicure, and those marabou wings.
