The title has nothing to do with the entry, maybe... except on a subtle level. But I'm not translating it, so the people that actually know Japanese (and me) will probably figure it out. I just felt like being confusing today.

After leaving home yesterday, I headed to RTA, as planned, but by the time I got there, Will was already gone. =P I'd wanted to catch a look at him in his "fobby" (but hott) outfit, and I missed it... even though I got there by 6pm. I'd tried calling him twice, but no one picked up... so I text-messaged him once I got to RTA. I played a little initial D, in which Shingo thrashed me (as predicted). Stupid soccer-mom Shingo and his dumb Civic. >_< Anyway, Sean showed up at that point -the only one besides me nicely dressed despite not going to the dance. It was adorable (well, his T-shirt didn't match his dress shirt at all, but it was the thought), though he was complaining about not being able to DDR in his "dress shoes." ^_^ It was still rather cool. But note to self, and all other female iD players: NEVER play wearing a skirt. Crowds will form to look (and NOT at the cars!), and you will inevitably get distracted! @_@; Actually I think I was doubly distracted because there was no music on the right side of the machine. So peachy-- the left side has a loose wheel, the right side has malfunctioning speakers! ;_;

Played some DDR with Sean (MAX 2, because the line up front was horrendously long, even though it was mostly Fred and That Other Guy playing) --and Sean was right, playing in anything remotely dressy -be it dress shoes or a skirt- is a pain in the ass. I switched -at the last minute- from my uber-worn boots to my sneakers (thank god I had the sense to bring them with me) and we played "So Deep," "Break Down," and "Let's Groove." Blah, I still didn't Max Combo "Break Down" (and you're probably getting tired of me saying so, too) and I finally discovered why-- those damn freeze steps. According to Dez, it's because I'm too lightweight to hold them. Will suggested I move my foot slightly -like wiggle it in place- and that worked-- but towards the end of the freeze step, it went N.G. (No Good). BLAH. I either have to learn to DDR in lead shoes or gain weight... or maybe I should just "cheat" and turn the Freeze steps off. We went to In-N-Out after that-- no one else was really interested in going, so it was just me and Sean walking there, commenting on the tourists, the strange street salespeople, the attractions in Ripley's Believe It Or Not (I want to go there one day), and everything else between. Sean kept saying "Hi guys," and "Bye guys..." I think they were his catchphrases of the evening. @_@; Some people actually turned and looked when he said it too.

We'd walked the long way, past the boat Will was supposed to be on-- the Royal Star. Even after 7:30, it hadn't left yet, and Will had just gotten on (as he told me in a TM) before I got to Pier 41 with Sean. I swore I saw him in one of the windows, but even after I TM'd him, he didn't come out. Haha, it was funny though, how Sean said hi to everyone-- and only one of them knew Sean. I didn't catch her name, but Sean said he knew her, but not who she was with. ^^;; Apparently this girl has had a boyfriend each month. I'm not sure whether to envy her or think she's a bit much of a player.

At In-N-Out, I discovered I had more money than I thought I did (always a good thing) and only needed to borrow about $2 from Sean to get a #2 (why is that my usual number whenever I go to restaurants?). Sean wheedled a free drink from the cashier --who'd just switched places with another cashier, who was pretty funny and intelligent; he kept showing us ways to get $9.11 (which I thought was just a creepy total) with different meals-- who didn't realize I'd already gotten a cup. Sean had a 4x4, and I have to say, it wasn't as big as I thought it would be. I wonder if you can order one of those and ask them to put extra vegetables on it. It looked awfully... meaty to me. @_@;

We ate there, even though Sean had a turn coming up on Extreme -so I feel bad for causing him to miss out- and since it was freezing out, I put my pants on. Back at the Playathon, I'd been curled up in the choir room reading the last of my romance novels ("Audacious: Ivy's Story") when I realized I had GUM stuck to my pants. I kept trying to pick it off with paper and my mini-screwdriver-- no one told me that gum could be removed with ICE! Gah, so I'll just have to do my laundry and get it out that way. Amazingly, I finished everything-- my burger, fries (with some help from Sean; I rarely finish fries) and my drink (well, up to the point where it tasted like ice-coke). We headed back to RTA, and it was almost closing time (9:00, instead of 10:00) so I got one more game of Initial D in (David is SO nice! He gave me $1 in tokens for free!) --once again, thrashed by Shingo; stupid corners-- and... that was it. Fred et. al. didn't care to speak to us much, let alone leave with me and Sean --and why would they have, since they don't live in our direction-- so Sean and I headed to the 47-- not a single bus there! We walked back to the F stop, but there was a crapload of tourists there, and when the F finally came, it didn't even stop. -.- So once again, back to the 47... I think it was that bus driver who likes to talk to everyone. There were some stupid middle-schoolers (who easily could have been tourists) that kept talking loudly throughout the trip, yelling out the names of the streets, and saying as they left "Everyone take bus #47!!" -.- GAAH. I hate middle schoolers.

-.-; Speaking of, earlier Baka had been bothering me and Pill about when the next private party was. I knew that he probably wasn't going to be welcomed, so I told him I didn't know-- so he goes and asks Pill, who told him a date-- which I thought was the right one! I dragged Pill away to ask him what he'd been thinking, but Baka, the little spore he is, tagged along. I got him to back off some, and as it turned out, Pill had given him the wrong date-- and he admitted it a bit too loudly, ergo Baka heard. *sigh* In the end, we both said we didn't know. Baka will undoubtedly figure it out if he reads the boards, but Pill says that he, Jimbo, and someone else (forgot who!) will be doing the entrance check, so if neither he nor Oliver on the list, NYAH, no entrada! Besides, this time it's not just a "private party" for us frequent RTAers, it's Will's bday! =P So... no annoyances! ^_^

Once we switched to the 31 (and that neighborhood creeps me out... it smells, too. It's that area about 8 blocks before Market/Van Ness, with all the indie shops), Sean had me playing this strange Korean math game that I downright sucked at... something with tapping your fingers to the other persons' and getting the sum, or tapping your fingers together and getting a new sum. I kept screwing up though; it was very confusing, even for something with simple math. *sigh* Not my best subject. So I got him playing 20-questions, but he kept asking the strangest questions... I thought he was going to his house on 39th (or something like that) not 9th avenue... *hiss* So he didn't guess it by the time he got off; I told him it was a zipper. ^_^

I went straight to bed, played Star Ocean most of today, as Mom was on the phone, and now... here I am. Nikki has just told me that she's totally addicted to DDR and now it's all my fault. I feel proud. =D Speaking of games, I finally toasted that biatch Darkfeather (the boss in the first level of The Cave of Trials) and zoomed right to the 2nd floor-- which is bigger than I thought it was. I wish I had a map of it... I know that Cidolfas has one, but my printer is being a bitch. -.-; I just replaced the ink, so hopefully if I try to print the map, it'll work. I need a new color cartridge though. The chip on the old one is shot.

ANYWAY, back to Star Ocean-- so I opened up the door on Level 2, with all the statues... so far I have 2/5 of the treasure on that floor, and the Bunny Shoes are making the running back to the entrance to save a bit easier, but... I've been noticing a lot of things, too. First off, the Prima Guide is not half as cool as I thought it was. Especially for the Cave of Trials. There's really no other way to get up to the level required to beat Indalecio (don't you have to be at Level 200 just to beat him, and with his limiter off, around 300?) ... Claude is at 103 right now, Rena at 100, and most everyone else in their high 70s or 80s. Leon finally learned Daemon's Gate, and it KICKS ASS, doing 4000+ damage per monster. And his Gremlin Lair attack? KILLER! All these ugly-arse monsters come up from the ground and chew the living shit out of the enemies. ^_^ Another thing I've noticed-- Chisato is... well, sort of corny. Her attacks have the weirdest names (like "Preparation" for her missiles-raining-down attack) and she says them sort of funny. But hey, she kicks butt, and is necessary for the ultimate battle party in Claude's scenario. All the playing has got me working on the Definitive Star Ocean Guide for Dummies. I need a LOT of work... and maybe some HELP! ~_~

Now this is interesting... it's amazing the songs in the Initial D anime... I was looking for the lyrics to "My Will" when I stumbled upon this. Now I wanna hear it.

Well, I'm about done now. It's nearly 6:00, and I have a game to keep playing, a guide to keep writing, dishes to do... and Alias to watch at 9:00! YAY~

Two things;

Baka is an RTA regular and so is Oliver. I could understand why Oliver isn't invited, but why not Baka? I like Baka. He's a cool kid.
