azuriteGrr. Grr because I kept dying on Mt. Gagazet-- those stupid fiends! These Nidarhoggs or whatever they are look just like the frustratingly impossible Fire creature thingies in the Bevelle Cloisters in FFX-2! *seethes* Grr also because I know, first thing I have to do when I go online tonight is to reply to the messages in the RPG, keep it flowing... but the first thing I see is an entry from Bakura, who was MIA for the longest time... (and of course, has the facts all wrong! Using words like 'Shadow Realm' --a dub invention-- and 'Zork out of Anzu's body' which has not happened! GAAAAAAAAAAH!)
But there's a bright side to every cloud I guess (though you'd have to be flying in a damn airplane to see it!). Yes, so I've gotten past Yojimbo and all the narsty fiends at the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. However, I'm meeting Joe at EBX tomorrow, so that means giving him back FFX and Persona. *weeps* Swear to god, first thing I'm going to do when I get cash is buy those games! Since it's pretty damn unlikely that I'll be able to get my PS2 modded before I leave (seriously $70 even for an "okay" chip is too much), there's no point in burning Persona. I can just hope to find it on eBay or something when I'm down there... *le sigh!* Then, when I come back for Christmas Break, I'll see if I have enough $ and time to get the PS2 modded. -.- I'll lug it all the way back to SF if I have to...
Hey! Someone answered my Anzu bashes the Other Yu-Gi-Oh Characters Challenge! [Challenge #2] Kaira-chan did, and the ficlet is here: A Public Service Announcement. What I find most amusing is the fact that one of the idiot reviewers, even though the whole ficlet is about how bashers are completely idiotic for why they hate Anzu/Téa, bothered to review saying "I hate Anzu because she gets in the way of the romantic pairings of Yugi and Yami!" Anyway, the reviewer is so deranged she finished off with a "so I killed her off using Bakura..." blah, blah, something stupid, something... and then a cheesy, misplaced evil laugh. This is why I hate tweens, and I hate tween writers, and most of all, I hate wannabe-otaku-fangirl phreaks or any other name I can come up with. They're all retarded little brats who need to pay more attention in English class.
*cough* Anyway. On the Challenge front, I have thusly received a challenge from miss_matched, who wants me to try my hand at a YGO Yuugi/Anzu fic. ^_^ It's been a while since I've had any ideas for that pairing (when I initially got into Yu-Gi-Oh, I was a staunch supporter of the pairing. After reading through the whole manga though, I've changed my mind... plus, working on WDKY, well... *sheepish grin* Anyway, you'll be able to see that entry soon. I'll also include it in my CHALLENGES Memories section, which you can access through my user info! :)

I'm going to wait for some more replies to my challenges before issuing more. You have 2 challenges with loads of options at your disposal, so get to it!
I finally started folding my clothes and packing them-- I'm here for 9 more days, so I only need 9 outfits. That also means getting rid of loads of clothes. Yay? I have too many T-shirts anyway... I managed to swing some time to watch "Wars of the Roses" again, and now I've got pages and pages of notes in my journal (that is to say, my handwritten journal). I now know who most of the major players are, which begs the question why did Konami name Seto after Christian Rosenkreuz, who had no major role in the Wars of the Roses? They couldn't possibly have named him after anyone else-- and theoretically speaking, it can't be the Christian Rosenkreuz responsible for the Rose Order and all that- it'd have to be his GRANDCHILD (which is what I made Seto in TRC). The real C. Rosenkreuz, as far as my research has revealed died the same year the Wars ended...
Even better, though the video was one day late, I went all the way to the Main Library (it was a gorgeous day though, so I didn't mind being outside...) and returned it. And for some bizarre reason, I didn't owe anything! The guy told me my library account expires in a few months, but since I'm leaving, I see no point in renewing it. I mean, I'll have the whole Oviatt Library at my disposal! ^_^ I used the $1 I would have spent on the fine going to Burger King (SHOCK! Mer at a fast food joint!) and snagging an apple pie. Yummers. Took the 5 home to 6th Ave, and walked the rest of the way home.
FFX, frustration, online... here I am! Still have to pack some more, write those challenges... yup yup, better get started now!
