I'm almost done reading the first book in the series, "Circle of Three." It's complete fiction, but I really like it, and it reminds me of the days when I was honestly "serious" about Wiccanism and Witchcraft. I told people I was a witch, explained to them that no, there were no brooms, evil cats, or warts on my nose. I had a Book of Shadows, mostly filled with stuff I'd copied from websites, my friend Katia's (who introduced me to Wiccanism) Book of Shadows, and the various books I pored into while at Border's. Then I just sort of gave up on it, hearing only about it from time to time when referenced in TV. It's sad, how even my favorite shows, like Buffy and Charmed make Wiccanism look like something so... surreal.

I've added 'wicca' and 'witchcraft' to my Interests page; I've joined a few communities that might help me get back on track. One of the most famous witches has a coven here in the city; maybe I could find out where it is she holds her rituals... but then again, you might have to me a member to do so. But I think I could use some spiritual enlightenment to get my life on track again... I've never liked Christianity and Judiasm because of their bias towards the male gender; Wiccanism is based on things like matrimony between the sexes, between forces, between nature. It's not a religion as much as a science; it's both, more often than not.

This might sound pretty odd to some people, I suppose. In any case, I have to get my tail to the Media Academy room to discuss with Jessica about that poster project Jasmin and I signed up for... then I have to go home, drop off my backpack, pick up some more books, colored pencils, CDs (I hope my CD player works...), PS Games, my sleeping bag... yeah. ^_^ Then off to Cala to buy water for everyone.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!
Blessed be!
