Mmm, Christian Bale... I mean, er Hugh Jackman! Yeah!

Ahem. So I finally managed to get my hands on "The Prestige." I saw the preview of it a few weeks back with some girls in my EC group, and I was wishing SO hard it would come to Japan (even though I doubted it). But after reading a bit more about the movie, a bit of an idea came in my head (re: Hugh Jackman's character), and so now I have a challenge for any interested parties. It's actually quite simple:

Use the following line in a fanfic: "Why would a rich man suddenly care to dabble in magic?"

You can change the line slightly as you see fit, but the general gist of it must still be there.

• Any fandom.


• Any genre.


• Any characters speaking/being spoken to/about.


• Any length.


• Any rating.

As with my previous challenge, I would very much like to see a Yu-Gi-Oh fic for this, if only because when I first thought of this, I had Anzu saying it to/about Seto. But I realized it could also apply to any number of other characters, including Pegasus, Sugoroku in his early days, Otogi, etc. etc. It could even be said by and/or about an original character, but could somehow tie into the canon of your fandom of choice!
