Mm, cherries

For some bizarre reason (perhaps blame it on my Jamba card that I found) I've been obsessed with cherries lately. I wanted to make a cherry layout for one site or another, and attempted to scan my Jamba card and make it into a seamless background-- that didn't work. I tried finding web graphics places with cherry backgrounds or cherry-themed layouts... note, the FRUIT, not the flower! So irritating... And I also wanted to find more "jewel" like layouts, but it looks like Moyra's was the first, last, and best of them. Other than that, I'm stuck making my own... :P

I haven't been much in the mood for writing or photoshopping today; it might be due to this weird loneliness I've got. I'm kind of feeling sulky and unwilling to stick with any one thing for an extended period. I still have lots to do, though, so I'll take tomorrow (er, today?) to do it. I was working earlier today even though I didn't have to -damn my conscience! Apparently one of my co-workers busted up her finger and had an allergic reaction to the Epsom salt she put it in, so... o_O Wait, didn't I already say all this?

I spent the last hour or so on JK Rowling's official site hunting down "easter eggs." It was fun! There's much stuff to be found and cool things to learn! I'm looking forward to the upcoming release and party at Border's... and as for my Myrtle costume:
(1) No robes, no biggie-- it's a good 80 degrees here with high humidity AT NIGHT, so I don't think people will whine if I don't have them... right? And if they do, I can throw a hissy fit-- I'll moan and mope and be Myrtle!
(2) Collared shirt (preferably a T-shirt, got that... I do have a collared white long-sleeved shirt, too) and a tie, and some kind of solid, dark-colored skirt (I have gray, a long black one, and some "swishy" black ones too-- but the only pleated skirt I have is black-and-white plaid). Also a black vest (check).
(3) High socks (check) and shoes (???)
(4) Pigtails (easy) glasses (check) and a perfect pout (double-check)

...Dude, the actress who plays her in the movies (Shirley Henderson) is 38. 3-8! OMGWTFBBQ.

The party goes from 9pm to 1am, as far as I've heard, and I get off at 7:45pm. I live about 15 minutes away from Border's, so it works out perfectly, ne?

Ah, and as I'm reading all these FAQs, the Dramione-shipper in me weeps. JKR has killed off any possibility of Hermione and Draco "getting together," but that won't stop fangirls from me from theorizing once she ends the saga. (By the way, what do you call a 7-part series? I mean if a 3 parter is a trilogy, then what is a 7-parter? A septagogy?) And she's said SOOO many things (from both the literary and journalistic perspective) that incriminate certain events as happening or not happening. Most of you might know what I mean. *wails* I'm going to start crying now... break out the Kleenex and whip out your currency... I think I know who's gonna die in this book...

Oh did I mention Scott and I saw "The Fantastic Four" the other night? It was cheeseball, and as Scott said, 100% predictable, but I loved it. And whee for the actor who played Dr. Doom whose name escapes me at the moment-- he makes such a kick-ass enemy!

Hm, so I'm tinkering with other possible pairings for my other 30kisses pairing, since I will eventually (sometime soon, though not like, in a week or anything) be done with Seto x Anzu, and I'm not too into re-hashing and trying any of my other YGO pairings/triangles. So...

Mm, choices, choices! With DxH, I could totally fulfill a_white_rain's request and do a bunch of time-traveling fics. I love time-traveling!

Ugh, I forgot/was a bit busy and neglected to post the new challenge #5 at YOT. Doing that now. Buh-bye.
