azurite: (tresmoron - Anzu's Determined)
This is just a quick post before I go to bed and finish updating my... oh yeah, I bought an iPod. ^^; A pretty blue iPod mini with 6GB of space-- hah, I actually DO have over 6GB of songs on my computer, and that's NOT including the second half of the OverClocked Remix collection that I just finished downloading via BitComet a few days back...

;_; I feel so guilty about being giddy about an APPLE product. Isn't my tongue supposed to fall out or something?

Anyway... last night = nice. Scott and I saw "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" which a) unexpectedly related to our situation and b) was kind of a turn on... o_O; Don't ask me why, I'm still not sure. I was happy Scott chose to stay with me (and that I wanted him to!) that night. It was... nice, even if there was that sense of tension that this might be one of the last nights we'd spend together, before he goes back to sleeping on some couch somewhere or whatnot. I hope that by attempting to recapture the feeling we had prior to him moving in (a closer relationship, more excitement, less stress/frustration) that we won't rewind everything-- we'll still be close and open... and I won't be jealous if he gets a female roommate. I WON'T!

It felt like the first time in a long while (I've lost track of the days) that either of us were with each other. This morning came as a pleasant but incredible-feeling surprise, then. >_> I mean, we're still obviously lacking in the "creative ideas" department (he had to switch positions 3 times...) but... well, I enjoyed myself, and so did he, at least to the extent we both found "acceptable." I really can't go into details here, can I? I guess no matter how much of a big mouth I am, I can't just kiss and tell... *blush*

Today seemed like an endless amount of work, but I got through it-- and I put up with the bad attitude of "A" once more. As for "C," well, I'm not even going to see him again until next Wednesday. Who the f*ck cares, anyway? Good impression, wrong impression, whatever he was playing for or at, I'm not part of that anymore, and I do not care. I did tell "A" that a) I'm going to San Francisco from the 19th-25th, and b) I want to keep limited hours (20 or less per week would be nice, or only morning shifts, if possible) so I can spend more time at home, pursuing the things I like and love. If it ends up being too random or taxing and they can't put me on call or whatever, I'll give my real 2 week notice and quit.

Though with the way things are lately, Scott (and plenty of you guys!) are right about the quitting being a bad idea-- if only because I've been blowing so much money, lately! But figure it this way; all the things I'm buying are things that'll stick with me for a while-- er, except for the plane tickets. ^^; I'm fairly sure AmTrak would NOT have been cheaper... ;_; but I'm regretting not looking. Meh, 10 hour train ride by myself? I think not. And there's no way in hell you could stuff me into a Greyhound, especially not after the Anaheim Heritage Music Festival.

So after I splurged on my iPod, Scott called and arranged for us to go to the premiere showing of "Batman Begins" tonight... er, last night? This morning? Whatever. We just got back some time ago, and if the fact that I'm awake and all energized is any indication, I LOVED IT! Seriously, I don't care what Scott thinks about Christian Bale (my other boyfriend! <3! No, I'm kidding, but if I had a ridiculous crush on any celebrity, it's him) but I think he makes a KICK ASS Batman. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman only sweetened the deal. Katie Holmes... well, to be honest, she surprised me. She had very little screen time, in the whole of it. And Liam Neeson? What's to say about him, he's always cool in that weird way of his! Ken Watanabe... didn't look like Ken Watanabe, though, and he too, had next to nil screen time.

I'm looking forward to the next installment though-- so long as Chris Nolan keeps up with the screen plays, Bale keeps up with the deliciousness (and the bad attitude!), and Hans Zimmerman keeps up with the score (I am SO buying the soundtrack!).

Wow... that's it. I'll get around to replying to all those comments and advice (thanks, guys!) later on... you know, full story report, disclosure and all that. Nitty gritty details, as you like it. Since I have tomorrow off, I'm also hoping to get started on all these projects I have open... icontests, fics, webpages, and maybe swinging by Wal-Mart to get some paints and such. I'll also start looking into driving schools... and maybe buying a few good books to hold my interest this summer (any recommendations?). I'm still waiting on the PSX-TECH chip- it's driving me bonkers at this point, since it's been like, what, 3 months? Geez. I also have to call Jill, tweak my iPod, finish cleaning my room, and whatnot. There's more I'm forgetting, there always is...
