I was going to use a creative subject, but I've pretty much used 'em all at this point, right?

Today:
(1) The sites are back! w00t! The scare was enough to get me coding again, so expect new layouts ASAP. Plus BEA's new version should be live by tonight, complete with all the new features-- and just in time for the 300 members! (We're at 290 now.) I think I'll make the 300th member a banner. ;)

(2) Writing, writing... yeah, I have half of my surprise ready, but I'm not too amped up about it because it's not FUNNY. Lately everything that's been bringing me good fortune is FUNNY. So it can either be really long to make up for the lack of initial funny, or it can be un-funny, but still... it's what you want, and I know it. Well, at least there will be another half to make up for it, right?

(3) Shopping and banking and... stuff. I have to get some travel essentials (camera, cotton balls) and some stuff for the rest of the week (milk, syrup) so I can have a complete breakfast (french toast teh yayness!). Bank - deposit more cash, get traveler's cheques. I like spelling it 'cheques,' it's so much prettier than CHECKS. (wait, does that make me a fangirl?)

(4) Someone tell me how 30kisses (or whatever it's called) works. I don't understand why specific people get to adopt specific pairings for X amount of time it takes for them to write fics of varying lengths and whatnot. Why can't it be like 20themes, where everyone just has at it, looking at a set of themes for a given fandom/pairing/etc. I've got several resources to this latter respect-- Dragonfayth has its own 20themes penned by none other than guardian_kysra. I plan on writing those, once I get more of my other unfinished fics up. I suppose I can just keep taunting you with all these fics I'm not going to post until I'm done with the others...

On that same subject, a chapters update on fics (don't get excited, it's not really an update in terms of new material):
WDKY - 36 chapters (Definite)
Circle of Seven - at least 18 chapters
Death and Absolution - 15 chapters plus epilogue
TLC - 5 chapters (Definite)
The Joke's On You - At least 5 chapters
Family - 5 chapters (Definite)
Prophecy Girl - at least 10 chapters
Something to Somebody - at least 4 chapters (probably 6+)
You and Me - at least 3 chapters

And if you want it all in an equation:
Shortest fics have priority right now
WDKY has priority over Circle of Seven (obviously) and Prophecy Girl
Death and Absolution has priority over Prophecy Girl
Something to Somebody is at the bottom of the barrel
There are a bunch of other WiPs and fics I haven't started yet (see Evil's Storyboard on my LJ) that aren't even in the barrel.
