For anyone that has ever had the slightest irk with FFnet

If you ask, I don't know why I was feeling particularly mean to FFnet today, but something out of the blue went and inspired me to make the above. I suppose I could have refined it more, and actually made the bulb look like it was exploding, but where's the fun in that? Besides, it's cool and small as it is-- and I got a good laugh out of the finish product. Did you?

Oh-- I'm *almost* done with WDKY16. Since my usual team is AW[O]L for one reason or another, I'm going to ask this JUST once: anyone who has EVER done any beta-ing for me whatsoever, if you're not busy, want me to send you WDKY16 for a once/twice-over? The usual suspects are Mamono, Atlantis, and Kysra, but Mamono's got her quirky 'Net connection, Atlantis is come-and-go, and Kysra's got the Seminar-Paper-of-Doom. So this goes out to anyone that's done anything beta for me, ever. Why not people who haven't beta-d for me before? Well, put simply, I'd like to keep my already-large team (because Svelte and Snapdragon-chan have also beta'd for me in the past, as has Harlequine) to its current size. I'd also like to know and trust whoever's beta-ing my stuff, in the sense that they too, produce and desire quality work, and aren't just fangirling their way into an advance copy of my stuff. That's not right. So give me a shout-out if you're bored. ^_^

I'm in such a Photoshopping mood lately-- I've been making icons, joining icontests, yoinking bases (I made a new icon for delishidoodle today; it's the new default and uses a real fortune from a fortune cookie!), and other neat stuff. Plus there's this new banner, and hopefully some new layouts on the way. Yay for progress! But! I MUST FOCUS ON FANFICTION! That is the theme of this week after all. So I think the rest of the today will have me sitting here getting cramped up and writing oneshots.

...and imagining Anzu as a stealth agent. You see what Read or Die music does to me!? Yeesh. (By the way, just because I love the idea of Kaiba the Drama Queen King DDRing, I might find a way to sneak that into one of my fics. I don't know when/where/how, but my icon just INSPIRES. He wouldn't be able to decide between being a PAer (Perfect Attack) or a Freestyler. He's just too... KAIBA. Hehe. Maybe I should play some DDR to get rid of the fat I'm probably gaining from my Oreos...

Yu-Gi-Oh Oneshot #1/3 - You Don't Know Me

Not sure where the idea for this came from, but I love the concept of outsiders looking in. It's done especially well in Ranma 1/2, where people that AREN'T martial artists or Furinkan High students are looking in on the whole world of craziness, arranged marriages, and curses. So here's a peek at a similar sort of take on the dueling world of Yu-Gi-Oh...

Yu-Gi-Oh Oneshot #3/3 - This Is All Your Fault

This is really a response to Challenge #1 on thefirstline, which I wanted to get writing as soon as I saw it... but things just kept happening (midterms, Scott, Japan) and I never got around to it. Now I have a lot of things to catch up on at that comm, so I'm trying to get on track with this as starters!

This was due a while ago, so I feel bad. Until I can actually catch up on ALL the entries (which means you should be seeing a flurry of oneshots exclusive to LJ... at least for the time being... coming your way soon), I won't post ANYTHING on the actual comm. Not even an introduction. I feel like some sort of eeebil lurker now... ^_^; Anyway, here goes:
