Okay, so Kysra's fanart (up at the Anniversary page, and expect a colored version from me soon enough) along with some random KiSS bug has me making fic-inspired KiSS images of all my leading ladies (because there are no Seto Kaiba KiSS dolls that I could find).

So far I've made one of Chieko (What Doesn't Kill You) and might be making one for Rose (The Rose Chronicles). Of course, I didn't do any of the original artwork for these... just the arranging of the clothes and the re-coloring to suit my needs. Still, I'm learning...

Besides that, I still have so much catching up to do... not just with fanfiction, fanart, and websites (and sorting stuff out on my computer, creative projects, and so on), but also with video games, and television shows! I mean yeeks, how many premieres have I missed!? Smallville, I know for a fact! Anywhere where I can watch re-runs (current for this season) or download them? And what about the other shows I was watching? What other shows was I watching? o_O

Ooh! I'm reading WDKY11 reviews right now, and eventually I'll get onto posting the Darkness Rising character profiles, along with Azurite's Fanfiction (OC) Profiles. I also have to get working on the review replies, the majority of which I will address HERE on LJ as well. But right now, I'm working on assembling the Turkey 2K4 CD. I need to get some more artist names and such, so help a sister out here, okay?

Random stuff: Had a good time at Magic Mountain. Went on Riddler's Revenge, Superman: The Escape, Viper, and others... but I neglected to get a map so I could make a checklist. I spent $1 at the arcade on DDR, but Standard "Break Down" for my 3rd/Final stage failed me... or should I say, my legs failed me, and gave out. We had no need for lockers, but the $30 I got from Baba and Grandpa disappeared pretty quick nonetheless. I didn't get a brush (for some reason, those folding pop-out brushes with mirrors are only at theme parks. Well, not at 6F.) but I did get a candle/pendant for mom, and a purple pen for myself! ^_^ That was pretty pricey and time-consuming in and of itself, especially because the scanner didn't pick up the pen's (or any other similar pens) barcode, and the idiot cashier didn't know how to enter a SKU. -_-

I did spend close to $10 on a giant funnel cake and milk though, and thankfully, though Scott shared it with me, he didn't get sick. Neither of us did, though we came close a few times. The coolest part of the whole day had to be when a random guy gave us Premium Passes, so we got to bypass the gigantic line for Riddler's Revenge and Goliath. The RR guy gave us a bit of trouble because apparently there was supposed to be a fourth 'Ride 4' pass and a white ticket, but Scott and I sneakily said that the tickets we had were how we got them (the truth). There are still loads of coasters I wanted to go on though: X, Deja Vu, Revolution, and others. Viper was fun, but I kept bonking my head, and Superman was "Meh" because it was similar to "Greased Lightning" back at Great America, but with no full loops. The ride didn't even go all the way up. -_-;

Near late evening, the park turned into a serious Fright Fest! Beyond the decorations of skeletons, pumpkin lamps, and webbing, there came fog and, best of all, actual ghouls! I'm serious-- these costumes were so real, no wonder why so many people were terrified! Over near Samurai Summit, where the Sky Tower, Ninja, and the Haunted House were, these ghostly people wandered around just like everyone else-- until they scared the shit out of someone by screaming in their face. It was hilarious. Most of the time, they were scaring other people, but they tried to scare me, too-- and I just smiled. A few times I was startled, but I didn't leap into Scott's arms or cry or anything. Scott was smiling the whole time, having fun watching people get terrified.

This one guy, who I'll call the Usher, wore a suit that looks like what an opera house usher might wear-- except his face was gray and dirty, his hair mussed up, and his lips painted dark, with dark circles under his eyes. He probably had a few tears and bloodstains that I missed, but make no mistake, this guy was a ghoul. He'd wander past the haunted house line, randomly walk up to someone (usually a distracted girl) and scream RIGHT in her face. It was hilarious; one girl actually leaped into the air and onto a rock behind her! *grin* There was also a Conductor, a Chainsaw Guy (he actually got a talking-to from a Dad whose wuss son ran away. The people booed the Dad after that.), and even a guy with a shovel-- who dragged it along the concrete, making it spark! People got so scared! It was great fun!

The haunted house was pretty good too, though I swear I went to a very similar one at Great America or Marine World once. The usual-- black lights, mirror effects, people springing out of nowhere... there was one black light room with polka dots, and people were actually in lycra suits with those same dots on them! You couldn't see them at first-- until they sprang out at you! The dead maids tickled me, too, though most of the time, Scott and I could see exactly where everyone and everything was, and we just laughed when other people got scared.

By 10pm, we had to leave the park (it was closing), but it was also starting to rain. We headed back to the buses (this time, we got on the plush one). Seven people got left behind! Yeeks, I wonder what happened to them. Oh well, their loss for not showing up at 10:15p, like the guy said we should. Though, said Guy (the coordinator) was 2 hours late to meet us in the morning, so I was a bit peeved at that. Still, all the fun I had made up for it-- by far, the best theme park excursion I've had in YEARS! I think Scott and I both had fun. Scott slept on me (! he's so cute when he's asleep) on the way back to CSUN... even though both of us had our contacts in, and we're not supposed to sleep with them in our eyes. We got back to CSUN after much traffic and rainfall, and headed to Hollywood.

Derek, for some weird reason, was passed out on the futon folding-couch (usually Scott's and my bed), so we got to sleep in Brett's room, since Brett was away in Corona. We didn't do anything though, and the bed, while more comfortable than the futon, was way short for the both of us (baffling, since Brett's taller than two of us!). This morning just sort of sucked from the get-go... I felt bummed out for some reason, and worse than that, mad at Scott. I still don't know why, but I ended up feeling better after we woke up and went to Farmer's Market. I had an all-American meal that Mr. Republican Patriot Brett would be proud of-- beef ribs, a roasted yam, white bread toasted with butter, barbecued baked beans, and a freshly squeezed lemonade! It was delish, and I can't wait to partake of the leftovers tomorrow night-- er, that is, if I'm in the mood for such a manly meal so soon.

But I'm sure all the shopping I plan to do tomorrow will wear me out enough-- I FINALLY GOT MY FIN AID CHECK! WHOO HOO!

And now to sleep, because I'm sure I have plenty of Zs to catch up on!

Mememe... couldn't resist.

We pretty much got caught. But at least we still had our shirts on. )

Anyway, I guess I oughta update Anzu's journal soon. Better now than later, I guess, considering she'll be in some random ass time zone? Hehe.
