*yawn* My stomach compels you!

Apparently my stomach has scarred Sean for life. How? Why? Something to do with the whiteness of it reflecting the sun and sunburning him. Hm. Poor boy.

I'm eagerly waiting for Atlantis to finish up Riddles of the Heart 8B, which she has told me is her longest chapter yet! *bounce bounce* In the meanwhile, I've been chatting with some rather (shall we say) "interesting" people from Fanime. Also have been working on WDKY10 a skosh, though I really need to figure out what kind of "mood" I want to set for the beginning of the chapter, and who I should focus on when. Does anyone have suggestions for music to listen to, for a slightly darker chapter? A lot of the action takes place in a club of sorts, so such music would be much appreciated-- music helps me get into the writing mood.

After picking up my pics from Walgreens, I have thusly concluded the following:
(1) The Dealer's Room sucks for taking pictures
(2) Disposable cameras suck
(3) Kodak is the best, even if it's expensive

I managed to rollerblade the entire way there without falling, though down the first hill, I had to hug the buildings. ^^; But man, was it exercise! :O Anyway, some of the pictures look good, so I'll scan and edit those, and, like I said earlier, once I get Snapshot back up and running with a new, organized layout, Fanime 2k4 pics will be up!

The pizza mom got from Greco Romano SUCKED, by the way, but the Coke I bought at Walgreens kinda made up for the disgustingly cheesy (extra goat cheese or something) taste. It also gave me the energy to last as long as I have... though I did wake up kinda late and take a nap earlier. :P

Anywho, so I played Star Ocean 2 and was goin' through the Cave of Trials... I got to Level 8: Food God when I got ambushed by a bunch of Dreamshades and DIED. Damnit... the battles! I lost the battles! I'd leveled up so many people... grr. Well, if at first you don't succeed, try try again. I just hate having to go all the way down... I want to get to Level 8 (then back up to 7) before I quit... because then if I save, I can just go to Level 1 and then drop straight to Level 9! Damn... Cave. Grr.

I'm getting tired/dizzy/weird-feeling, so if Atlantis doesn't post soon I'll have to be pleasantly surprised later. I really should sleep. I hate this bizarre feeling I'm getting...

Destroyed by an E-beast! ;_;

Damn damn damn.

Don't you hate it when you spend so much time working on something, and it gets taken away, stripped from you, and utterly destroyed before your very eyes within a matter of minutes?

Okay, it's a video game, and yes, I'm exaggerating. But I hate losing. ;_; I managed to make it all the way to Level 9 of the Cave of Trials in Star Ocean 2, *AND* I managed to fend off the same gang of Dreamshades that killed me before-- multiple times! I was leveling my party up left and right, making cool items (2 of Opera's secret weapons/accessories) and even some nice, high-selling Art and prizes (Cards, Treasure Chests).

Well, so I decide I've leveled up enough to kick the Eyrisin (or however it's spelled) "E-Beast" around, and I head into the boss room. Keep in mind that I didn't *HAVE* to do this-- I could have gone back up to Level 7, gone to the Save Transport, saved, and been done with it. Then, upon re-entering the cave, I could have:
a) skipped Level 8 and its boss altogether by using the secret passage to Level 9; I still would have been able to access the Level 9 to Level 8 staircase back UP to the exit, but I would have to fight the Level 8 boss then.
b) gone all the way back down the Level 8 again, leveling up and junk along the way... and THEN fought the E-Beast with extra strength.

But no, stupid girl that I am decided to jump head-long into a battle. I thought I was winning too-- until all of a sudden I realized I didn't have control over Chisato and Claude anymore, and the E-Beast was gaining fast on Leon! ;_; Before I knew what was happening, Leon and Rena had both been swallowed and I was dead. *sigh*

It pisses me off that I spent so much time working on it, paying attention, and trying to get past that one damned level-- so I'm of course going to do it again. You might think playing video games is a waste of time, but I get a ridiculous sense of accomplishment from beating a game, and it spurs me onto doing more productive things-- i.e. working on my computer, coding, sorting out pictures, cleaning my room, doing the dishes, cooking... o_O Weird, isn't it?

In any case, I scanned in most of my FanimeCon 2004 pictures and I edited them in Photoshop, since the colors sucked... I'm in the process of sorting out all the pictures on my SNAPSHOT site into categories, so that when I make the layout and the site goes live, everything will be nice and organized. ^_^ Thus far, I have the following categories:
Anime Conventions - Fanime, Anime Expo, Metreon Festival of Anime
Anime FX - Club at SFSU
Arcades - Riptide, Milpitas Golf Land, SVGL, Metreon, etc.
ROTC - Camp Parks, Marine Corp Base (Camp Pendleton), Brigade Ball
School Events - Graduation, Prom, May Fest, etc.
Family Events - Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Brooke's Wedding, Brooke's Graduation...
Holidays - Halloween, Christmas, Random Vacations (Tahoe/Reno, etc.)

And of course, there'll be a miscellany category with all my other random fuzz.

Okay... so:
(1) Must try and fix errors with the join.php and country.php pages of my FL
(2) Must make layout for SNAPSHOT, sort pictures
(3) Must work on fics. Esp. WDKY, and KiSS doll too, if possible.

Must play more Star Ocean... *drools* If I play it too much, I might end up working on "Perfect World" before WDKY! >_
