(The subject is a play on the phrase, "This is it," which happens to be the name of Macy*s junior department, a separate store in SoCal. I go there when I have the chance).

Okay, folks, this is it. When next you hear from me, I shall be parked in front of a virus-ridden (probably), sleek (maybe), Dell computer (fact). The CSUN Open House is tomorrow, and my flight is in a few hours... and I have to go soon. I'll have to save working on WDKY, TJOY, and my newest fic (didja read, didja read?) "TLC". I haven't decided what it stands for... yet. :)

I had a freaky nightmare the night before last that kept me awake all night-- I was freezing cold and too terrified to do much of anything, and I have no idea why. Some warm milk finally calmed me down...

Last night I saw the employee screening of "The Ladykillers," which was funny and sort of weird, in that unexpected way. Good flick-- check it out, it comes out today! Even better, see it at an AMC and tell 'em Mer of SF sent ya! Not like it'll make a difference, tho...

Gotta jet loves!~

Yo! Comin' at ya from Northridge, CA. I was so zonked today from so little sleep last night, I fell asleep on my tray table on the plane. Almost missed the whole flight. I had the window seat over the wing, and my seat didn't recline.

Grandpa picked me up over by baggage claim-- it was so warm outside (78 degrees), but I kept my skirt and pants on-- it's kind of a cute look, even if Baba's right, and it's overly black. I totally intended to go shopping, but after getting rid of some trash here on the comp and installing a temporary firewall, I fell asleep on the rec room couch. So I'll have to save the shopping for tomorrow after the Open House.

I'm watching a Star Trek marathon on Spike TV (it's weird, they call it the channel for men, but it's like UPN) and laughing at all the old episodes... *sigh* Ah, Star Trek.

I found a book I left here (I always leave stuff there)-- the writer's workbook. Quite a handy tool, that. I wish I'd brought some CD-RWs though... turns out my old temp files from my Thanksgiving CD are still here! I could burn all these AMVs and MP3s to CD and *have* them! But I didn't bring any burnable CDs, dagnabbit. I'd end up buying RW CDs, when I already have a bunch at home! Well, most of those will be going towards burning PGSM (people still haven't sent me postage, I don't know what they expect me to do) and getting the files off my computer.

What else? I'm forgetting something, I know it... >_

But crap! I didn't set my VCR to record Yu-Gi-Oh tomorrow! With open house and 200+ channels of cable, I know I'll miss it... I wish I'd remembered to set it! I already know what's going to happen, but it's not the same...

>_< WHAT AM I FORGETTING????

This is really irritating.

J-Town didn't have YGO DVDs. Looks like I gotta go back to Network Video.

I should work on more of my fic ideas here. Call it a challenge to work without my notebooks and ideas pages.

I think what I was trying to remember... when I got to the house, Baba and Grandpa said that when I move here, I'll have my dad's old room... it isn't what I was hoping, but it's bigger than I thought. And they said they'd buy me a new bed and desk and everything! :O I wonder if I'd be able to redecorate the room like my whole "dream crib" is (I have 2 pics of my "dream room" on my comp at home).

Gah, one irritating thing about Spike TV-- same commercials, over and over:
* MGD Light (a family fights over the eldest daughter's selection of beers... kinda funny at first, but stupid the 2nd time)
* New series on Spike TV-- something about a guest star flashing D. Letterman a breast; if the guy's dog's face was that ugly, the dog's but would run and hide so it would't get licked.
* Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas - I wanna go!
* Tom Clancy's Pandora Forever game-- kinda cool.
* FFXI adverts, which are pretty darn cool

Did I mention the Wheel of Fortune audition? I didn't get in (otherwise I'd probably be a hell of a lot more excited), but I had fun, and wasn't disappointed in the long run. The waiting was excruciating, and I was sooo hungry, but it was cool.

In all honesty, I'd rather be on the Price is Right.

Hey, new version of Semagic!

Does anyone know how to change the default browser?
