Happy Swag Day!
Dec. 26th, 2003 08:57 amAh, I don't want to go to work today... ;_; I didn't believe everyone when they said yesterday would be the busiest day of the year... and I ended up learning the HARD way. :P I didn't get a single break until 5:00. Okay, I did get a measly 10, but I was on the verge of fainting from low blood sugar (working 10am-4:30 without stopping will do that to you)... thankfully the transfer OC from Fullerton let me take a 10 to get my energy back. Of course, Kimberlee had it worse, since she was there before me, was supposed to get off sooner, and ended up working without ANY breaks up until 5:30!!
The bank picked the worst time to kaputz on me; I was still supposed to get Joe's present when $40 just POOFED on me the other day. -.-; So now I have to give him his gift after New Year's; that's when I get my next check (and it's all because AMC wants to avoid paying the new $8.50 minimum wage on this new pay period's check). It's not even like I'll be able to get the things that I still want/didn't get for Christmas then anyway; the largest portion of my paycheck will undoubtedly go to Mom for her big 50th b'day present... -.-; Even though she still annoys me, blah blah, I love her, she deserves it. *grumbles* Ugh, I can't believe I just said that.
I have to go in 5 minutes, so all the fun falling-down-the-staircase, karaoking-with-friends, etc. will have to wait until later. Much later, since I have work from 945-545, and then there's Cris' party thing...
