Hey all...
Got home early from work, as the Mana-whores (*snicker* Just kidding) sent me home early. -.- You know when I first got to work, one of them (the sexist one with a lousy sense of humor) asked me about the "palm pilot" I got for Chanukkah. Okay, one, I only had it out for maybe *FIVE* minutes when one of the OCs (this particular one who has those swings of being cool and then not cool!) saw it and said it was like a cell phone and had to be left in my locker. -.- HAH! They've already proved how insecure the locker room is... plus so many people leave their crap in there overnight even though that's not allowed. Besides that, it's SO not like a cell phone! It doesn't ring, and it has multiple uses. I can take notes without using up the company paper or ink, I can calculate stuff without walking away from my computer... and when I'm bored, I can play puzzle games that flex my rotting brain!
Hmph... anyway. So I roped myself into working 6 days a week. I went to ask one of the Managers about taking off on Dec. 23rd, when Sheila has this ROTC get-together planned (Squee! I so wanna go!) , and then all of a sudden that Chanukkah thing comes up again. I say I got a present for Chanukkah, and all of a sudden I'm insta-Jewish, and is that why I "complain so much?" (words of an OC, not me) And it's like, if I'm Jewish, why do I care if I work Christmas Day or not!? I already agreed to work Christmas Eve and Day, since I got Thanksgiving off, but even if I *was* Jewish, it's not exactly thrills and beanbags to work on one of the BUSIEST days of the year, with everyone doing their uberlast minute shopping and get-togethering. :P Feh, stupid men, making assumptions about everything. It's just the ones at work in upper management, it seems. -.-;
I'm going to jet soon to catch "Timeline." ^_^
All my Snapple caps have gone to waste, I missed the Yard Sale. Reading all the caps was fun, though.
And when I get back from work (again) I'm going to FINISH (I SWEAR!!!!!!) Part 7 of WDKY. I might end up reformatting it so I can put it up on FFnet. -.- Pain in the neck after pain in the butt after pain in the... augh, never mind.
Okay, going to head out now... I have a lot to catch up on and do... yeesh.
