Bah.

You know, last night almost fell apart completely, because it's far too easy for wires to get crossed, people got confused, and wallets were empty. Stupid Walgreens. They charged me $20 for my prescription... and Joe had to pay for it, because I didn't think it'd be that much! I was sure that last time I got it, it was only $6, but insurance has gone up so much... >_> What's more, I "splurged" after getting $10.10 from the redemption (not as much as I'd hoped, and I *should* have saved it to buy Nihongo Pera Pera) and bought myself a deck box and purple slip sheaths at C&C. Saw Louie and Tim again, which was kind of cool, though Louie still thinks I'm too hyperactive. Blah.

I was under the impression that going to see X-2 was oh, a date? No. I NEVER had cash to pay for a movie, even before the redemption cash. I knew I had to spend it on my prescription, because that's loads more important. Mom ended up giving me $20 for the movie, and I spent $9.50 on the ticket, and roughly $3 on games-- $1 on DDR, $2 on Initial D. All in all, I have $10 to my name-- and that's including today's lunch money. Feh.

The senior spread is going slowly, because I can't get the names justified when I use a text layer, and when I paste it from Word, it cuts names off, and no matter what I do, doesn't take up as much space as it says it does (the print version of the names says it's 7 inches wide; the print image of the eagle says it's 4 inches, but the names are always smaller than the eagle!)

I'm going to post on WishOnAStar in the hopes of getting some leads on that YM/Yerba Buena font before I go and make it in Fontographer; I'd still have to trace, color, and scan the individual letters in anyway, and I don't want all that to be for nothing. And I still want to know how to do that fading grid layer trick.

Thank god today's Tuesday; I get to watch Buffy and Smallville, and I get to sleep in tomorrow morning. I don't know exactly what I'm looking forward to this week though; maybe getting the rest of FMoS so I can finally see the end of the series. Or maybe dueling at FX? Sometimes that's fun.

Oh, and I thought X-2 was good. On a scale of 1-10, an 8. I do miss the flashy costumes and Rogue's cute accent... but I love the cliffhanger, and eventually will get around to posting a list of who they oughta bring in (and the cameo appearances they can't leave hanging) in X-3. It's going to get complicated. After the movie, I spent about $5 renting the X-Men (animated) DVD, "The Legend of Wolverine." *giggles* FUN! There's cool extras, too.

*yawn* Lunch is soon, and we're supposed to see the FFX-2 previews in Anime Club. And I have to tell them about the $100 design contest for Mayfest... I'd love to win that. Bah, as if the club will even exist next year... I wonder what we should do with all this anime. Bell rang, going.
