I was in the middle of watching Full Moon O Sagashite from where I'd left off the last time (episode 35) but I only got as far as 37 before Vince's super-packed computer crapped out on me, and refused to read the CD. >_> Maybe I can borrow the CDs up to episode 42 tonight and give them back to him on Wednesday... Waiting until Vince gives me my copies (my bday present) would be okay too, but FMoS is so suspenseful! I finally got to the Christmas episode, and I was crying between singing what I knew of "Eternal Snow" and "Smile." It was so sweet!! Poor Meroko-chaaaaan!
*cough* Ahem, I had to split really early yesterday from the Will-tachi... I'd thought Vince and them were walking behind us to In-N-Out (we left RTA early since they closed at an ungodly hour of 8:30-- I'd only managed to play one game of DDR... but I full comboed www.blondegirl! WAI!) but it turns out that Anthony (aka GOD!) had left his backpack at RTA, and they'd closed up. x_X Vince had his car, and he had to go pick up his dad and everything... since I'd planned to stay at his house to begin with (and I wasn't in the mood for burgers) I had to run and meet Vince and everyone in the car. Blah. ^^;
We dropped Cris off at his house (nice stuff he's got there! So many game systems, plush furniture, and a HUUUUGE TV!) and then went to get Vince's dad at the Yacht Club. I was starting to get pretty tired, but I was hungry first and foremost, so we drove to Cala Foods. I'd gotten $20 from mom, so I bought those delish Laughing Cow (I think) wax-wrapped cheeses, two boxes of Macaroni & Cheese, and some Wild Cherry Pepsi (so much for sleeping... right?). I made Macaroni and Cheese for Vince and I, since Jimbo and Anthony already had food. >) Niichan thought he was making ramen, and he turned the oven off while the noodles were still cooking. Oi~ some guys need to get themselves personal chefs or something!
I was SO nervous about giving Vince's mom the birthday present I'd gotten for her-- a Cucumber Melon Bath & Body Works gift set. But it all went well-- she hugged me and said thank you, so all is well. I was nervous because I wasn't sure how much she knew about me staying over at Vince's, getting rides, etc. So there was no card or anything, but I *did* give it to her in person... so yay. All said and done.
Slept through most of today (and last night-- Jimbo fell asleep first, woke up while Anthony and Vince were watching "The Cube" but I was knocked out the whole night-- from 12:20 onward ^^;) and woke up when Anthony and Jimbo wanted to leave (well, slightly before then) to get his backpack from RTA. Vince'd already left, and all I remember about him even sleeping was that he was bundled up much more than either Anthony or I were (and we were on the floor with blankets!) and had that annoying alarm clock repeatedly going off! So... yeah. I think there might be a birthday party for Vince's mom tonight, so I might stick around longer (who says no to free food?) and such. But I'm tired now... and the repetitive SFX of .hack//INFECTION might just lull me to sleep where I sit.
Oh yeah, I just remembered *grin grin* I beat Seigfred in a duel last night! Of course Will was bothered by YGO (and so was Jeremy...!?) so he went off to play Initial D... I wasted Seigfred and then played DDR. Played a game of Deuces (and lost, since I forgot mos tof the poker-style hands Mike taught me) at In-N-Out before I called Vince and had to meet up with him outside and go. ^^ All in all a good night though. Kinda hungry now... after all, I only had one dinky oatmeal pak.
Note to self: borrow Vince's AMVs and FMOS (up to 45).
