A REAL ENTRY!
Hi, I'm alive.
And well, actually. No more barf-a-rama. Which is good, except that I'm still being pretty picky about my food, since I don't *want* to be throwing up again any time soon. So I had chicken noodle soup last night for dinner, and two waffles (no butter) this morning. So far, so good.
Made some progress in Kingdom Hearts-- I got to DEEP JUNGLE world, but the stupid vine-swinging got on my nerves (I finally made it to Vines 2, but then I dropped back into the Hippos' Lagoon. Grr) so I quit. I do have a save up there, though... What I *should* be doing though, is playing FFX and Persona, since I have to give those games back to Joe before I leave. I really do want to beat FFX...
Mamono got me listening to Escaflowne music (Lover's Only OST; the one that has "Memory of Fanelia" on it), so I'm in a kind of chocobo-mood. You know, ready to go and kinda hyper, but still sort of relaxed (like I've just had a wad of Ghyshal Greens shoved down my throat). *sway* Whee...
Things I'm working on today...
* Accomplished: Printed some CD labels for my CHICAGO soundtrack and my Inuyasha WIND (Symphonic Theme Collection). I have a few more CDs to go. I also sorted out all my CD boxes, since I'm not bringing them to LA-- I'm just bringing my binders. :)
* To do: Award templates for SMRFF, plus touching up of *last* year's Mamo Day awards. I feel so stupid for not uploading them. I also have to design a new layout for SMRFF, which I might have somewhat done; I do remember starting one for MS, but SMRFF is my priority right now.
Loads of CDs to burn... I have to start deleting files and programs, exporting settings and save files... better now than later, right? I have to learn to "live out of a box" for a while. I really need to get packing.
There's also lots of fics to work on; I've been skittering around from WDKY to Prophecy Girl to (now) Family. So you might see one of those three latest chapter showing up soon. I actually fell asleep last night with my head full of this plot hole in WDKY... I have to do some double-checking to make sure I didn't make a major screw up with my timing and plotting. >_< I really need to condense all my notes and stuff.
Sometime later, I plan on going to C&C and picking up some Ancient Sanctuary cards... not like I have anyone to duel against, but that's beside the point. :) Later this month (and I do mean JUNE), I have to get my hands on "Joey the Passion" somehow... plus I need to swing by CompUSA and see if they really do have that "trade an HP ink cartridge for a ream of paper" deal. :D I like paper!
What else? Well, I might have found the source/solution to the error I'm still having with BEA. See, when I initially made the fanlisting, I enabled this favorites field that asked people to say why they liked Seto/Anzu together. Now, this was waaaaaay too long, and most people didn't even bother filling it in. So when it came time to change the layout, I changed the option, too. And then, problems galore! I fixed most of them, and now the error is that people have been joining, but not showing up in my Admin Panel. The CodeGRRL.com FAQ (which I stupidly neglected to read the first time around) says that you have to change it back-- but of course, I want a different question now, if I *have* to use it. Anyone have any ideas? The best kind of thing would be something multiple choice, so I could use a drop-down menu instead of worrying about people typing stuff in (or not).
Supposedly one of the solutions was to drop the Favorites field in PHPmyAdmin, but I tried that and it didn't do anything. ;_; So even if I *do* change config.php back to the enabled-favorites (with a new question), will it add the field again? I don't know... I'm a bit too impatient waiting for someone to get back to me. Maybe I should just pore over my PHP book...
;_; I tried to do that cool portrait maker thing that everyone else is doing lately, but I keep getting an error! It's not fair! I want my l33t icon!! *bawls*
*sigh* Back to Photoshop.

Date: 2004-06-23 08:26 am (UTC)As for Family, I got a semi-decent chunk of it done, but I need some more before it's send-out-worthy. But I'm all for idea-bouncing and such.
