Gettin' hyped up for the con, yeppers, CON TIME IS HERE!

It is Tuesday. The Con begins on Friday. I have no time to do anything BUT get hyped up. 1. 2. 3.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Okay!
(1) Printed out the tentative Live-Programming schedules and will work my to-do list around that, primarily because I refuse to miss the Fanfiction Panel again this year. It's supposedly at 10am on Saturday.

(2) Currently working on my To-bring list. I've got all the usuals-- cosplay, normal clothing, cash, cameras (still have to buy), sketchbook + extras, notebook, yu-gi-oh deck(s), and all the other girly stuff over packers such as myself bring. Can anyone suggest anything else?

(3) Already got my to-buy list done. ;_; It's sad that I probably won't have the cash for most of these things. *sigh* It's going to be a very boring summer. Might as well attempt to start it with a bang, ne?

(4) Excited? You betcha! While there are a lot of things I wish they'd just take OFF the live programming schedule (Tomoyo does Cardcaptors, for one), there are some fantastic classics back on the track (Otaku no Video) along with some ones I've been getting hyped up about for not finishing anyway (Sailor Moon Live Action!). So between new anime, favorites (Fumoffu!) and Asian Films, I shall be a happy camper eye-wise. That's IF I can get my contacts in. I suppose I should start practicing again. *sigh*

(5) GRR. I am 19 years old, but because I lost my ID, I might not be able to go see Battle Royale 2: Requiem! Must find suitable replacement... >_o Birth certificate? Yeah. I'll bring that. :D

(6) Nope, not doing the R.O.D. cosplay. The skirt is too big. :P Damn my bubble-butt and my tiny hips. But I will be Anzu for the whole weekend, if I can manage. I hope it's hot enough down there in San Jose so I can stand wearing shorts that... SHORT. >_< How does Anzu do it in the middle of freezing Tokyo, and 4000 feet in the air!? She's crazy, man. Are there any female cosplays for characters with brown hair and RED pants? :D

Hmm, I have a lot of cleaning and sorting and packing and deciding to do. Best I get going, mm?

Whee! You're going to a con? Sounds fun! I went to one a couple of months ago. ^ ^~ And yes, I did go as Anzu! I have brown hair which is just around her length. I wore her battle city outfit, so I'll have to show you pictures! (provided they get to you along with the fanart...x_x) I actually was able to find white thigh high socks and chunky bracelets! I was really happy. ^ ^~ I was originally going as Mai because my boyfriend was going as Jounouchi, but I really wanted to do Anzu. ^ ^; What outfit are you doing for her?

I'm doing Battle City as well, just because it's a bit simpler than her other outfits-- I don't have any yellow shirts that say SPIRIT or any yellow-and-pink shirt/vest combos. >_<

I'm missing the chunky bracelets, but I do have 2 other bracelets that might make up for it. The tiniest of details usually don't bother me.

:) But yeah, I did get the fanart-- twice, in fact! o_O I must have moved the message before I replied, and that's why I thought I didn't get it... Whoops. ;_; But it's soooo preetty!

Now I gotta find the thigh-highs. >_< Wish me luck!

I'm so glad that you liked it! ^ ^~~~ It was the first picture I had ever inked which is why it turned out a little sloppy. *weep* I've been getting better though with inking! (BTW that's what happened to her hair...the ink splattered O_O and I had to cover it up the best I could ^ ^;;;)
Aaaah! You're looking for the thigh-highs? Those are so hard to find! ^ ^; When I found mine, it was like destiny! *ignores Kaiba's anti-destiny scoff* It was the last pair left and the rest were only calf-high! I was so happy! I don't know if this would help, but the store I got them at was called DEBs. It's at my mall, so I'm not sure if it has sister stores, but good luck! (I also got my bracelets there BTW) ^ ^; My younger sister also had this tanktop-ish turquoise top that had fuller shoulder sleeves (although it didn't go over the shoulder) and was slightly button down, that she gave me. Finding the darker shorts was easy, I had a belt similiar to her's, and then I have sandels that look just like Anzu's, but they were black instead of turquoise. *shrugs* Close enough. You'll have to send me pictures though when you go! Next cosplay, I'm going as Yami no Bakura. Yikes, a cross-dressing experience. ^ ^; The thing is, I still have tons of white and silver hairdye from halloween and for art I made a life-size Millenium Ring for a project! I was really excited how it turned out. ^ ^= The only problem is, I don't know where to get a stripped top like that! O_O
Anyway, I'm glad you got the art! Now, good luck cosplaying and finding things! *crosses fingers for Azurite*

Nope, no DEBs out in my area, so it looks like for thigh-highs I'm going to have to go the old fashioned way-- Macy*s. >_<

My mom (gag!) is supposed to lend me the white sleeveless blouse, but if worse comes to worse, Old Navy might have what I'm looking for.

Re: Bakura and the crossplay experience-- for some reason, crossplay with the YGO bishounen is not that uncommon. And a striped tee could be easily gotten at a place like Goodwill or Salvation Army; if not, just check the Kids Section of places like Target, Wal Mart, Marshalls, and Mervyn's.

Since I'm not a platform-sandal person, I'm opting for my purple Converse sneakers instead. :D

Gah-- I'm looking for some full-body pics of BC Anzu now, so I can see her shorts and shoes. o_O I swore I had one, but I can't seem to find it-- would you happen to have one?

Well, I hear you finally got the white thigh-high's - That's great! Just in case you still need the pictures, I have a full body shot of Anzu from BC, that I could send to you if you still need it.^ ^; White lace on the thigh-high's? My, that's sexy. ^ ^;; I'm sure Atemu, Yuugi, and Seto would be loving that one! ;P

Right, I just checked the RP now. I'm waiting on Shizuka too; I thought Harley was back from her 3 wk. thing, but her posts might still be sporadic. Here's hoping we can all post a lot more come summer. :DD We need to start working on new plots!
