The Heart of the Cards doesn't like me much

Gah. Woke up relatively early this morning (6:00am ish) and couldn't think of anything to do... come 7:00, I'm bored and hungry, so I got up out of bed and hopped on the compie. I attempted to duel Kaiba, but RIGHT as he was about to toast me, the computer froze. :> I started up another Match Duel, and he OWNZED me again-- but the cool part was, in the last bit of the duel, I was chanting "Heart of the Cards, come on, Dark Hole Dark Hole Dark Hole!" and I got Dark Hole and I destroyed his BEWD and his other card... but then he summoned Blackland Fire Dragon and wasted my Life Points. And he did the same in the next round-- stupid arse had Harpie's Feather Duster. MEANIEEE!!!!

I need to figure out a way to lessen the number of tribute summon cards I have in my deck, because I keep drawing cards like Dark Magician and Gaia the Fierce Knight. And by the way, I think Gaia should be a chick.

*giddy* Whee, Kysra sent me "You and Me" part 1~ YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY... I'm going to post it soon. I have a few more edits to go. *grin grin*

By the way-- Kysra makes a very good point: What Seto and Anzu/Téa do is "verbal sparring," a'la Ranma and Akane. And the girl ALWAYS wins the verbal spars. Yes, he could kick her ass in a martial arts match/duel, but when it comes to the power of the tongue? Female. Always wins. *grin* And that can be horribly misinterpreted and I know it, so I'm just going to slink away with that grin still pasted on...

Okay, "Family" is now up on FFnet. It's Chapter 1 of... I'm going to say 5 or 6 total.

Coming soon - The Rose Chronicles and You and Me. I'm still waiting for TRC to come back from Mamono, Svelte and Yami White Rain, but I have it from SD-chan so far... and Kysra just gave me back You and Me, so I might post that soon as well. Man, I love having a team of Betas! :DDDD They catch all these things I never would!

I've lost every verbal sparring match with every girlfriend I've ever had... OH NO! I'M "THE GUY!" But that's impossible!!! I'm such a femme! *cries*

You know what would be cool? If we all used each other as a team of betas...not only would we get sneak peaks but you'd get around 4-5 different views as to how your fic could improve. XD

Or maybe it's just me because I love being able to read fiction I love before they're posted. XD Makes me feel uber-special!

That was what I was thinking! See, when I have three or more people beta'ing, I get a bunch of different viewpoints, and corrections that the others don't catch.

Plus, we all love each other's fics, so it's a great trade-off! :DDDD
