Everything's in Anaheim.
May. 15th, 2004 11:46 amAnime Expo is in Anaheim. The Heritage Music Festival was in Anaheim. Disneyland is in Anaheim. AND NOW THE YU-GI-OH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2004 IS IN ANAHEIM!!!!!!!
I AM SO GOING.
Yes yes, I know I'm inapplicable to win via the KidsWB site (I seriously need to make more friends that are 15 and under) and all that rah rah (the monster was Axe Raider, and if you're under 15 and reading this --and are my bestest friend in da WHOLE WIDE WORLD-- then you can enter up to 24 times a day. GO WIN AND TAKE ME WITH YOU!!) but you can register to go anyway! Plus Toys R Us is holding tourneys on the 22nd of this month nationwide for duelists to actually ENTER the tourney! I GOTTA DO THIS!
SoCal-- land of golden opportunity! Whee!
o_O The Toys R Us Tourney might be for the GBA game, though. Hmmm... likewise, it's a 64-man Battle Royale *cough* so... >_< Well, we'll see. And the championships for *THAT* are in San Diego! Gawd, I love my state.
Yep, I was right. TRU tourney is for 14 years old and younger... MUST already own the game and the console for it... blah blah. So much for that idea. If I didn't detest all the SF duelists (immature brats) I'd go to the TRU here in SF on the 22nd and at least *watch* the duels.
Funny thing-- for an "official" site, all this is pretty hastily put together. They even misspell "Championship" as 'chanpionship.' -.-; Har har, Konami.
SPECIAL ED. CARDS
============
World Championship - Exclusive packs including "Card of Sanctity" for VIP
World Championship Entrants - Sengenjin
Toys R Us GBA Tourney - Kanon the Swordmistress
Meh. Until Steph calls, I have nothing to do. I think I'll go back to sleep.

Date: 2004-05-15 07:45 pm (UTC)Heh. I'd register, but ya know... I'm sixteen =p So I'm screwed too.
It scares me when even supposedly official misspell relatively simple things. But then, I'm a grammar stickler, so...
It's not fair!
Date: 2004-05-16 12:13 pm (UTC)I still hope I can go and watch. :P

Date: 2004-05-16 12:09 pm (UTC)I tried explaining it to one of my co-workers once, and it didn't work. But seriously, once you read the rule book or play the PC version it's SIMPLE AS HECK.

Date: 2004-05-18 08:48 pm (UTC)I know this one guy who owns a card store and he always bargains with me. ^^;; I always love to say "You know, I'd buy it if it was..."
I'm such a stingy brat. XD
Re: O_O
Date: 2004-05-18 08:58 pm (UTC)Why can't there be a tourney for older people? I know it sounds weird, but I AM SO SICK OF KIDS.
Hmm, I am coming to NY in the Fall. Maybe I should go to a card store then... ^_^;
Re: O_O
Date: 2004-05-19 01:34 am (UTC)Wha-what!? >_<++ I'll admit it right here, right now, and to their faces that I dislike kids - I don't care if I was one, I admire my parents for having me - however, I cannot, *WILL NOT* commit to devoting 18 years of my life taking care of a screaming, obnoxious little shit.
Woot. ^_^ Which part of NY are you visiting?
Re: O_O
Date: 2004-05-19 02:30 am (UTC)^__^ As for what part of NY, I think it's Long Island, but I so plan on hitting up the parts I didn't get to see last time-- Manhattan, and I have a friend in Jersey. Which part of NY are you in?
Re: O_O
Date: 2004-05-19 02:42 am (UTC)I live in a suburban area called Binghamton...kind of little, very boring and there's like 50 banks located in my area. ~_~ God, it's like they think we're a money town or something. We visit Chinatown once every month to get some supplies for our restaurant but that's about it.
Hope you have fun! ^_^
