Anime Expo is in Anaheim. The Heritage Music Festival was in Anaheim. Disneyland is in Anaheim. AND NOW THE YU-GI-OH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2004 IS IN ANAHEIM!!!!!!!

Yes yes, I know I'm inapplicable to win via the KidsWB site (I seriously need to make more friends that are 15 and under) and all that rah rah (the monster was Axe Raider, and if you're under 15 and reading this --and are my bestest friend in da WHOLE WIDE WORLD-- then you can enter up to 24 times a day. GO WIN AND TAKE ME WITH YOU!!) but you can register to go anyway! Plus Toys R Us is holding tourneys on the 22nd of this month nationwide for duelists to actually ENTER the tourney! I GOTTA DO THIS!

o_O The Toys R Us Tourney might be for the GBA game, though. Hmmm... likewise, it's a 64-man Battle Royale *cough* so... >_< Well, we'll see. And the championships for *THAT* are in San Diego! Gawd, I love my state.

Yep, I was right. TRU tourney is for 14 years old and younger... MUST already own the game and the console for it... blah blah. So much for that idea. If I didn't detest all the SF duelists (immature brats) I'd go to the TRU here in SF on the 22nd and at least *watch* the duels.

Funny thing-- for an "official" site, all this is pretty hastily put together. They even misspell "Championship" as 'chanpionship.' -.-; Har har, Konami.

I say we inform Konami that there's a bajillion of us that are over 15/16 and want to enter these tourneys! It's not like our age would be a deterrent to dueling skill; in Japan, the world champ is something like 15, right? There are duelists who are older than that, and saying they can't participate in the big, sanctioned tourneys is NOT FAIR.

I still hope I can go and watch. :P

Depends on the pack, but at the usual stores I hit up, around $3.50/ea. 1st Editions or special ones (Legend of Blue Eyes, which has Exodia in it), can go as high as $4.99.

Damn...our Dollar General store is selling them for around $2.50 per pack and I still think that's a bit high for the crappy pay I get at McDonald's...^^;;

I know this one guy who owns a card store and he always bargains with me. ^^;; I always love to say "You know, I'd buy it if it was..."

*laughs* Whoo. That's like me, except... very wordy. I usually don't feel the need to justify my decision not to have kids (from my current frame of mind) to anyone. It's MY DECISION. Har har. And especially if it's a guy, it's like, "Okay, how about you try passing a 6 lb. kidney stone through YOUR PENIS?" See how they like that.

^__^ As for what part of NY, I think it's Long Island, but I so plan on hitting up the parts I didn't get to see last time-- Manhattan, and I have a friend in Jersey. Which part of NY are you in?

I live in a suburban area called Binghamton...kind of little, very boring and there's like 50 banks located in my area. ~_~ God, it's like they think we're a money town or something. We visit Chinatown once every month to get some supplies for our restaurant but that's about it.
