azuriteDamnit, it's stuck in my head.
Okay, so I got my financial aid award from CSUN. Not bad. Since housing usually costs the most and I don't have to worry about that (see, no matter what Erin says about the 'dorm experience,' I'm not about to shell out $8,000 for it), it covers most of what I need. Maybe $3,000 or so won't be covered, but that really depends on how much I'll REALLY need for books, transportation, and personal/miscellaneous. ^_^
The deal is that I will call the testing center at CSUN on Monday and ask them when they get my ELM results. Based on that, I will call the Advisement Office and snag an appointment (probably for the 27th in the morning) and try to get plane tickets to Burbank for the 26th. I'll leave in the morning of the 28th, making it to San Jose Airport in time for Fanime Check-in! ^_^ And then somehow I snag a ride or go with ppl on CalTrain back home to SF after the con is over. PHWEE.
I also have to go to Wash on Monday and hopefully talk to Huddleston about maybe seeing if the CalGrant GPA she gave me was wrong. And if it was, maybe I can appeal with the Commission? I do not know...

Speaking of which, I've gotten to Chapter 5 and am running around Spira trying to get "Episode Complete!"s. Thus far, I have trained in Blitzball and scored one place in the Spira League. Some more training and I'll be able to actully compete in the tournament! I like that you don't have to do anything... you just amp up the "adrenaline" and ta-da the game plays itself for you. ^^ Here's a few things I worry about though:
* I never put a CommSphere at Clasko's Ranch. If I go there now, will I be able to put one and get some 0.2%?
* I also never got the Crimson Sphere 5 from Leblanc. She came onboard, but instead of waiting in the Engine Room, marched up to the Bridge. After the CommSphere scenes that Baralai, Gippal, and Nooj gave Yuna in the Farplane (at least I think that's what the sphere was), Leblanc just bitched, and that was it.
* I also never went back to Luca in Chapter 3 to see Shinra win the Sphere Break tournament. Does this mean I can't possibly get the Lady Luck Dressphere? PHOOK.
* When does O'aka's debt have to be cleared? And isn't there another way of paying it off besides buying potions and stuff from him? It gets kind of tiring...
>_< I have to sleep tonight. I need to be able to get up early and go to Abercrombie already! >_< ! And I have to work on WDKY10, the anniversary project, and BEA's new layout! We just hit 100 members with the joining of MAy! YAAAAAAAAAAY! ^_^
I had a great idea too, but it'll take some doing. And if people have other suggestions, I need to hear them before I get too into my layout planning. Gonna go play FFX-2 now... *tear* Man, Chapter 5 is so sad! And 1000 words is so... tearful! I have to admit, I envisioned this great fic/duelmonster_rpg scene idea... sort of like a dream sequence, to the song. *grin* It'd be cool if I could pull it off somehow, but the RPG seems a tad... dead.
