Back to Bevelle-- with a plan!

azuriteI have been keeping such oddball hours, it's not even funny. Though why it would be, I have no idea. Anyway, so I'm now 55% through the game! Yatta! ^__________^ I finally kicked Yojimbo's arse after I made Yuna a Dark Knight alongside Paine (I love her line "There's enough Paine to go around." It's so snarky!) and Rikku was my in-house Alchemist. I happened to have the Haste Bangle, so it was quite helpful after that Zanmato attack of Yojimbo's.
I also checked up on Clasko-- the Chocobo Ranch is thriving! I sent a Chocobo out to investigate the Mi'ihen Highroad, so maybe it'll discover that hidden dungeon entrance...? I love catching chocobos. When you feed them enough Ghysal Greens and they get happy, they sway from side to side like they're high. It's so CUTE! They're probably the only birds I would like (if they existed in the real world. I guess the closest we come to them is ostriches, and they're MEAN!)
Anyway, I also did most of the side quests-- finding Lian and Ayde in the Thunder Plains, getting Cid to apologize, going to the monkey-infested Zanarkand (I had to run away from all the Ironside and Ochu battles; I have no accessory to prevent the Stop ailment), and then back to Besaid for the Search Sphere and sidegame. And then... back to Bevelle before Djose Temple. Gippal is in Bevelle for some mysterious reason! O_O GIPPAL IS HOTT! (So's Baralai, but I like Gippal's voice and attitude much better). Anywho, I followed him into the Vegnagun Hole, but it turns out the platforms didn't reset themselves.
But I have a plan to get the Ribbon accessory! Okay, so the map during that mission tells you which two towers align which platform. And the map for the Gippal mission tells you which side of the whole outfit the two entrances (to Gippal and to the secret room) are. So maybe if I do a bit of, shall we say "tweaking," I can figure out how to align the tower platforms and get that accessory! I AM DETERMINED!
Of course, I can't do it now. ^^; I was playing on and off for many hours last night... I think my gameplay time is close to 22 hours, but I *did* leave the PS2 on for a spell while I slept the other night. Plus, at 5:15 I'm meeting Steph and two girls from our Presidio Years (Middle school! AUGH!) to see a movie. I forgot which movie. ^_^; Oh well, the fun is in the surprise~! Plus Steph and I might hit up Blondie's and some stores before we go to meet them at the Met.
o_O Andrew called me yesterday morning and said I should call him tomorrow. I wonder what for? I hope I'm not in trouble... >_>
Hey, so I finally got my CSUN Registration thingy! But it's for online registering of classes, and I have two holds-- I have to get advised, which means going DOWN there and seeing a counselor or whatnot-- but it didn't give a date for that. >_< !! By Reg Appt. is on the 17th, which is WAAAAAAAAAAYY sooner than I thought... there's probably no way I'll be able to get to Northridge BEFORE then to get advisement, but the later I register for classes:
(1) The sooner I have to pay
(2) The less selection I have
>_< I have to figure this out! I am a confused pre-college student!
Meanwhile, Mamono's plan comes to light... bring Priest Seth back, huh? (The name makes me wince, but oh well. If I'd wanted to avoid it entirely, I would have used his name in my posts, rather than Priest-boy.) Well, things are going to get interesting...
I have 30 minutes to get dressed and get outta here if I wanna meet Steph on time. And I should go to the bank just because cash is better than crediting everywhere, especially the day before payday... ^^;

when going against vegnagun, just use rikkus special sphere (machina maw)
watch out for berserker, the last move you have to learn is 400ap!!
wonderful game... im working on it the second time (about 60 hours now cause i wanna finish all the dressspheres) around now for that 95-98 percent!(mikes gonna get 100 percent and get that special ending) if you get the sucky ending (50-70 percent), before she leaves the farplane, press x and something special will pop up
