Grr, the brat is back, and this time she's stealing ideas. Least, I think she is.

Okay, so the song "Behind Blue Eyes" isn't exactly uncommon, but I was going to do an Azureshipping fic to that for a long while. Only not be so un creative as to name the actual fic the same as the song.

And her summary is simple, but enough to piss me off royally-- "What if Tea was the reincarnation of Kisara?"

That is SO MY IDEA! I heralded that a long time ago! So many of my friggin' stories on the ideas page... >_

Bah, I just read that fic too and I'm a bit disappointed. The YGO characters are acting somewhat OOC or maybe it's just because I'm not use to that style of writing where there are capitalized words and a lot of exclaimation/question marks following each phrase.

Lady, I hate to rain on a good bout of outrage, since they fuel the imagination ever so finely, but the Anzu as Kisara thing...ain't exactly a stroke of inventive genius. It's been bounced around the YGO fic block for a while now and quite frankly it's just too basic/simple a concept to claim sole ownership too. It'd be like copyrighting the idea of Seto and Anzu as a couple, y'know? Or trying to get a patent on breathing and walking upright. Just kick it to the curb and focus your energy on more worthwhile causes. Besides, it's what you *do* with an idea that counts, right? There are many, many ways to cook this plot bunny, so why not drag the laptop to the kitchen and show this gal how it's done, hmmm?

So true. I'd like to say "Great minds think alike" and that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," but this is the fanfic world. If you've thought of it first, a hundred other people have thought of it ten years ago.
