So in character it's scary.

azuriteI'm tempted to write a fanfiction where the characters actually have LiveJournals, and it screws with their "IRL" relationships. I could either make it "anonymous" (i.e. the YGO charas find themselves reading journals or something and they belong to their friends/enemies/whoever, but they don't know that) or it could be obvious (master_kaiba for example).
See, Mamono's posts as Kaiba are *SO* in character sometimes I'm under the brief delusion (hehe, "Duelusion") that it's actually Kaiba being snarky with me, and I really get the urge to choke my monitor. Which is anataomically impossible.
Okay...
Today I had off, and I normally spend the day hanging around doing nothing until I go to FX. But today I cancelled FX and decided to chill with Steph and Eva-- any and all drama from last night, regarding telephones and rudeness, was zapped away into the oddly pleasant weather.
Of course, I had the luck to sleep in much longer than necessary, and before I knew it, it was 12:36pm, and I had to leave by 12:45! And I hadn't eaten breakfast, done the dishes, or finished checking my email! So I had to rush around doing everything and dash out the door; Steph called right as I got on the [late] 38 downtown, and told her I was going to be late. Of course, I was broke from last night's shopping spree (more on that later) and so I had to go to the bank... and make some emergency transfers. Luckily, a trip to see mom was fruitful, and she forked over some cash for the first time in a LONG while. :) I got a new book because of it. YAY ME.
Steph, Eva and I went to Blondies-- where this weird black girl thought I was "adorable" with my sarcasm and all, and decided to hug me. Steph took a picture. I'm still pretty creeped out. o_O After that, we... went to Claire's, I think, to see if I could return the cute purse I bought at Afterthoughts in Northridge... damn zipper broke only TWO days after I bought it! The teeth refused to catch! >__> Anyway, I'd make a good secret shopper.
Eternal Sunshine, by the way, was very good, but in that slow, trippy way. I wonder how Kate Winslet's hair is doing after all those color changes-- or were they all wigs? It's one of those movies that makes you think. The question that came to mind was this: If you could erase one person completely from your mind and history, who would it be, and why? If a procedure were available to do this, would you take part? What might stop you?
Because of the movie, I have more of a plot idea fleshed out for "Stairway to Heaven," which is an unfortunately overused title for YGO FFnet fics-- and I can't, for the life of me, figure out why. So, I might opt for the Japanese version, which is something like "Ten Eno Kaidan: The Stairway To Heaven (天への階段)." Originally inspired by "Legend of Black Heaven," if you remember.
So... yesterday I splurged at Virgin Megastore, since it was the last day of the coupon sale. I really went nuts. I went in with $200 or so, and came out with less than $30. It's really sad. But I got loaded with cool stuff, and I still want more (which makes it easy for anyone that cares my birthday is coming up... or who wants to be REALLY nice and congratulate me for getting into CSUN-- like abour maybe *5* people total have).

Besides the 2 PS2 games mentioned earlier...
* How to draw manga: Couples
* How to draw manga: Male characters
* A gift certificate to borders, Kinokuniya, or some place where I can get loads of manga
And now, to make this entry EVEN longer...
* I still have to make the JOANNA and YU-GI-OH fonts. I think I tentatively titled the YGO font "Duelist," right? I need to find the Joanna paper. Dammit, my room's messy again!
* Gotta get this "Bartlett's" quote book as mentioned in Eternal Sunshine. Sounds cool.
* Want to make magnetic poetry images for YGO, but I need to know how to do the text in Photoshop, and find good quotes. Not the ones from the collection.
